Volkite Eradicators deployed as a chassis or arm-mounted weapon on Warhound and Reaver-class Titans.

A Volkite Eradicator is a Titan-grade thermal beam weapon known as a Volkite Weapon that is deployed on Warhound and Reaver-class Titans.

The Great Crusade was a time of technological innovation. The Tech-priests of Mars crafted all manner of mechanical marvels for the Imperium's expeditionary fleets as they set out to reunite the Human-settled galaxy. Of course, the forces of the Great Crusade were first and foremost conquering armies, and so the greatest effort was put into weapons of war. Volkite Weapons were perhaps the most devastating of these.

In simple terms, Volkite Weapons are heat rays. They fire beams of thermal energy that set unprotected targets -- like unprotected Human bodies -- on fire. When scaled up to Titan size, they are terrifyingly effective at taking down void shields at close range, as they superheat the protective energy barriers and pop them out of existence.

Titan-grade Volkite Weapons can be deployed on the Warhound as an arm-mounted weapon, on the Reaver as a chassis-mounted weapon, and as arm-mounted weapons on Warlord-class Titans. They come in two types -- Volkite Eradicators for Warhounds and Reavers and the mighty Volkite Destructors for Warlords.
