Hi, welcome to the Warhammer 40k Wiki! Thanks for your edit to the Liberation of Numinal page. Please read ALL of the Important Links on the Main Page before beginning any editing activities on this wiki, as the Warhammer 40k Wiki has very strict formatting and content guidelines. Failure to follow them may lead to the immediate deletion of your work. If you have any questions or need help please contact either Lead Administrator Montonius or Associate Administrator Algrim Whitefang. Thanks, and enjoy your time here!
I did and I didn’t realized I had done anything wrong so far (I got the hint you’re not into superscripting); could you be more specific ?, as I merely started the article but a somewhat over-eager Algrim Whitefang finished it...Silberstich (talk) 20:40, May 23, 2015 (UTC)
Sorry about the confusion in regards to the use of special characters for numerals. Yes, at first I was reverting your edits into the format that we have always used. But after further review, I realized what your intent was, and so have slowly begun utilizing the newer format myself. Stylistically, I believe it looks better than the original format. So, if you would like to continue, by all means, please do so. Hope that clears things up. Happy editing!
RE: Alpha Legion New Section
You have permission to go ahead and add the information for Known Alpha Legion Operatives. I've already added the section to the Alpha Legion page, all you have to do is add the information. Have fun!
Silberstich (talk) 12:59, September 9, 2015 (UTC)
Hey Silberstich, it's Zixis. I am just curious. Is this is all the material there is about the captain of the 6th Company? Because the history content ends with Ur’zan retreating.
Hi Zixis! Well I guess there is more, but as I based my edits purely on the contents of Rebirth which is merely book one in the Circle of Fire-trilogy I’ll have to wait till Black Lib publishes the second volume... Hope this could help!
Silberstich (talk) 19:43, September 21, 2015 (UTC)
Hey Silberstich! It's Zixis. I just wanted to compliment you on all the great work that you have done on this wiki. You have spend a lot of time adding new data and articles to this wiki, and for that, I must say that I see you as an equal to Algrim, Shas and myself.
Good job and keep it up!
P.S if you want to answer this message, you should post it on my talk page
Good job on finishing Navar's Hef page! I am just curious, on what will you work next?

As a devoted servant of the Emperor and an Inquisitor, I advice you to act the way you see it right (as long as it is within the boundaries of your duty). Really, role playing aside, you don't have to follow the Lexicanum as much as they do not follow us.
You are the author of your own work, and you can call it however you want. That's the beauty of it. As long as you keep devoting yourself to this wiki, you can shape your work the way you want (within the wiki's rules of course, not that you don't know that already).
So don't let yourself be influenced by others and keep up the good work!
Security Level Maxima Pheta. Breach of this code is considered an act of traitoris extremis. Any non-authorised individual attempting to view this message will be dealt with severely.
Nice editing Silberstisch! Just wanted to tell you that there is no "the" in the names of the Chapter fleet.
Of course you can edit the Space Wolves and Iron Hand pages. You've demonstrated your continued dedication and expertise in adding new and relevant information to many of the Space Marine pages, and your editing and writing skills have continuously grown since your first began. I have every confidence in your abilities. So, go ahead and edit away! I have every confidence in you...but know this, the Wolf Priests will be watching your every move...MWAAAHAAHAAA...Happy editing!
RE: Iron Hands
Greetings Adept Silberstich,
I changed the protection on the Iron Hands page. Try it now. If you have anything else you need, just let me know. Ave Imperator!
It is a separate weapon, but I would presume it is part of the same 'weapon family'. I'll add a See Also section link to the Neutron Laser page.
Hey Silberstich! Nice to see you! If you want to chat then I am on the wiki's chat-room (you can find it on the right side of the wiki).
Hi Silberstich! Yeah, I've noticed that it took you more time to work on the Nykona Sharrowkyn then with the previous article. But we are not in hurry, right?
About the contributions, as I said previously, it is not really relevant since we never have a dead-line=).
You can add whatever you want, but, if you want my opinion, then I wouldn't mind see the pages of Orpheus Sector on the wiki. Nevertheless, you can add whatever your heart desires.
You can inform Algrim about the articles that you are about to add, though I don't think that it will change something.
W40k Wiki is not going anywhere, so take your time and add what you want.
Hi Silberstich! I've read your message regarding the Orpheus Sector in the Segmentum Tempestus page (I shold have replied earlier). Anyway, in my opinion you should add the original data from the IA, since the data in the article does not talk about the Orpheus Sector at all and only represents a single world within the sector.
Hi Silberstich! It's Zixes, what's up? Nice job on finishing the Orpheus Sector page! Just don't forget to add up the pages to the Sources content from which the data is taken. Can't wait to see your next works!
RE: Future Work
Højda Adept Siberstich!
If you don't mind, go ahead and knock out the Tancred and Alaric articles, as they've needed one for quite awhile now. Then perhaps Ghargathuloth. Then you can concentrate on articles for Phantine and the Phantine Air Corps. That would be an excellent start. Of course, we still need to get caught up on the Horus Heresy background books, but that'll come in the near future. As always, thanks for all that you do! Keep up the excellent work! Ave Imperator! Greetings Adept Silberstich,
You might have to go into your personal Preferences...what I would do is click the 'Edit' button. Then go down to where it says 'Editing Experience'. What I do is is I have my settings on 'Source Editor'. Then all the options below it, I have the boxes unchecked. What this setting basically does, is ensures that when you go to edit, it will automatically load up the 'Source' mode. Hopefully this will resolve the issue. Just let me know if this works for you or not. Ave Imperator!

I have had similar issues when using Google Chrome, and I found that deleting the browser cache may help with the loading.
Hi Silberstich, I saw your message on the Alpharius Omegon and thought to share my opinion with you. I think that you have all the rights to write down the data for article. If you want, you can write in the summary section the following: Spoiler alert for the ending of the Praetorians of Dorn novel.
At the end of the day, it won't be your fault if some one will spoil his own fun. Those who will read the page will understand where the page is leading them. So again, it is your right to edit the page and you are not responsible for others.
Please don't take it the wrong way. Montonius was merely stating what he found when he was editing the article in question. BTW, in case you were unaware, Montonius is the Lead Site Moderator of this wiki. After a long hiatus, he is finally stepping back in to take over his duties of running this wiki. I've merely been filling in for the last year. He brought this issues up with me, and I was going to pass them along to you. But alas, you saw the message on my Talk Page before I had the chance to inform you. I apologize for not getting around to telling you myself. Thanks for your understanding. Hope this message finds you well.
Algrim Whitefang, WH40K Wiki Senior Associate Administrator (talk) 17:44, September 16, 2016 (UTC)
I take no offense, but I am not dealing with enforcement activities. You intruded on a conversation between Administrators. If you were insulted, that is unfortunate, and it was not my intent. I was communicating with another Admin about a matter that I wished him to take action on, and I was explaining what needed to be done. If the wiki had the capability, the conversation would have been done privately. Since we do not have that capaibility, it was done in the open. No insult was intended, but I speak plainly and clearly and since the message was not intended for you, I did not waste time with niceties. However, in the future, just so you know, who I choose to deal with and how I choose to deal with them as Lead Administrator is my decision and my decision alone. Algrim would have explained to you exactly what the problem was and how to fix it, as was my intent, and there would have been no hard feelings.
If you want to see exactly what some of the problems with your pages were, you can look at the Orphean War page and the edits I made to it. In short, I would suggest in future that you please copy the text directly from the source as written, and do not attempt to paraphrase it. I deeply appreciate your attempt to add content in such large amounts and in such crucial missing areas for the wiki. Such ambition, time and effort is to be applauded. However, your written work was often difficult to understand and was not easily readable. It contained many grammatical errors, including run-on sentences, misspellings, missing clauses, awkward phrasing and words that are not actually correct English usages. On this wiki, above all else, we have a reputation for quality that I rigorously enforce as the final editor of every page. I have been absent for some time due to personal issues, so that daily editing was not performed and you probably did not realise that these errors even existed. That's fine. I will edit everything to make sure that your hard work remains on display here and all can enjoy it. But it would save me and the other editors an enormous amount of time, if in future you simply copy the text exactly that you want to display onto the page. Don't worry about the paraphrasing; it isn't necessary. This will eliminate the vast majority of the errors, and allow you to continue your large and much-admired contributions to the wiki in such critical areas.
In the future, please deal with Algrim, as he is our Admin for user outreach. I generally do not handle enforcement or editor outreach and will not always be able to respond in a timely manner. My job is to edit our pages and set overall wiki policy, so Algrim will remain your go-to source for editing help and getting your questions answered. Thanks.
RE: Superscription Clarification
As far as I could gather from Monti's reply yesterday, he said that personally, he won't use them. And though he doesn't care for them, he won't stop those who chose to do so. I'll stop on the Roman numerals for the Legions, but I won't stop using them for everything else. At least, that's what I'll be doing. If he does revert any of your edits in regards to superscriptions, just let me know and we'll hash it out, until we can come to an accord. Ave Imperator!
Algrim Whitefang, WH40K Wiki Senior Associate Administrator (talk) 20:14, September 17, 2016 (UTC)
Let me clarify the above. I prefer that no superscriptions be used, period. As I told Algrim, I will not remove them from where they already exist in future, but I prefer that no one use them going forward, particularly with Roman numerals. Montonius (talk) 20:19, September 17, 2016 (UTC)
Please note, use the word "faction" where you write "fraction." A fraction is a mathematical concept, among other meanings, which is why the spell checker is not picking up the word as a mistake. Also, please reread everything you've written before moving on to your next article, it will help you catch certain blatant spelling errors. Thanks. Montonius (talk) 03:57, September 30, 2016 (UTC)
Here you go!
Hi Silberstich! You weren't here for some time, so you've missed a great announcement! There you go!
Your recent edits on several planet articles (Desert, Jungle, Ocean, Ice Worlds, ect.), though greatly appreciated, were questionable. It was not necessary to rearrange the source section into alphabetical order. There is a specific way of arranging sources in the Source section of an article:
- 1. Codex , Dataslates and RPG Supplements in alphabetical order, with the newest edition ALWAYS on top.
- 2. Imperial Armour Books, starting with the oldest (Imperial Armour Volume One in numerical order from lowest to highest).
- 3. Comics or graphic novels.
- 4. White Dwarf Weekly issues first, from most recent to oldest. Then the old White Dwarf Magazines from the most recent issue, to the oldest.
- 5. Finally, WH30K novels. ALWAYS list the Horus Heresy novels FIRST, from the oldest to the most recent one, last. After the novels, then list any Horus Heresy novellas, from oldest to the most recent one.
- 6. Then 40K Novels, in alphabetical order.
- 7. Audio books.
- 8. Links to PC games
- 9. And finally, links to various websites (GW store, Forge World ect.)
As always, I appreciate your enthusiasm, but please DO NOT make large sweeping changes until you consult either myself or Montonius first! Failure to do so in the future will result in a temporary ban of your account. If you continue to fail to comply with the wiki's establish rules, this could result in more sever penalties. For you sakes, please comply and follow the rules. Thank you for your understanding and compliance.
You have been warned! The eyes of the Inquisition are upon you...

Salamanders further corrections
I checked on Heka'tan but could not find any more typos. I hope I corrected all. I am done with the editing, go for more corrections but please leave Algrim a note, when you are done. I will write to him, that you will do another sweep for typos.
Unfortunately, just taking something from the Lexicanum's mention of it is not enough. You must find the source, and if the Lexicanum does not list the page numbers, I'm afraid you have to find it yourself if the book is listed. The problem with the Lexicanum is that their sourcing has recently become a lot poorer than it used to be. I use them to double-check our information, but I've found it difficult to use as a starting source for finding new material in recent months. Ultimately, EVERYTHING must be sourced, and if you can't find a source, you can't use the information. But , I should add, for now, the additions to the Titan pages are fine, just keep this in mind for future additions. Montonius (talk) 20:35, February 23, 2017 (UTC)
Very, very nice job on the Scourging of Kerrack, Silberstich. You've really expanded well on a little-known battle from a difficult to use source. I hope you don't mind that I took the liberty of filling in some of the surrounding pages for Kerrack, the Slaughterkin, Mauhar the Harvester and the Space Marine Chapter he originally belonged to. You've done the wiki a great service by filling in many of these Imperial Guard and aircraft-related subjects and I and the wiki's readers, I'm sure, are very grateful for your expertise. I look forward to seeing what you choose to work on next. Montonius (talk) 19:36, July 28, 2017 (UTC)
Hi Silberstich, You can, of course, do whatever topic you most enjoy. However, when you've completed everything on your list, please ask me if you'd like to be assigned a very long, complicated project like the Orphean War. I have quite a backlog of projects, especially from the novels, Imperial Armour and Horus Heresy books, that could use your skills! Montonius (talk) 00:17, July 31, 2017 (UTC)
Need some help
Hi Silberstich, do you own the hardback copy of the Imperial Armour Doom of Mymeara book? I need it so I could get some good quality pictures from the book. And if you don't, do you know who does have one?
Thanks in advance!
Hi Silberstich! Thanks for replying so quickly. I am working on the Betalis III Campaign article that I have started long ago (that is where I get my data from). So as you can see, I already have the PDF version. The problem is that the pictures there are poorly printed, and I don't want to add those pictures to the article. I do not imagine that someone will print the hardback version for me, but you don't know until you try, right?
Hi Silberstich. Good start on Mezoa. However, I am very familiar with these particular sources, and if you are going to start filling in major Horus Heresy battles from the Forge World sources, you need to stick, very, very closely to the texts. I more or less want to see the vast majority of the text of that section placed into the wiki, with all the relevant artwork and maps, and I need you to stick very closely to the language, as the somewhat archaic terms used in those books are a major part of the differential experience between the articles about the later time period (i.e. 41st-42nd Millennium) and the Horus Heresy era. When you complete Mezoa, I'd like to see all the material in that section of the book, including the side bars containing material about the Ebon Drake, the Prophecies of the Flames, etc., placed within the Mezoa article where appropriate or on their own pages. When you work on a topic this big, it often entails creating several pages to include all the relevant information. Basically, we want every single fact in that entire section, pp. 34-53, placed where appropriate into the wiki, and we want all those pictures added as well, either to the Mezoa page or to the relevant unit articles. I will leave it up to you to decide how to do this, but be aware that when you complete the article, if any of this information is missing, I will be editing it in, or adding new articles to include it, if you haven't done so at that time. I would suggest completing what you view as the narrative of the campaign first, and then we can talk about what else needs to be added from the section and where. So good luck, and it looks good so far! Montonius (talk) 01:25, August 4, 2017 (UTC)
I wouldn't worry about it; there is no plagiarism by definition where something has been attributed to the proper sources and this isn't academia. But it's your article, and your choices will define it, just stay as close to the text as possible and I'm sure it will come out fine. Montonius (talk) 10:20, August 4, 2017 (UTC)
RE: IF Article Unlocked
The article is unlocked. Let me know when your done so I can relock it. Thanks!
Algrim Whitefang, WH40K Wiki Senior Associate Administrator (talk) 23:51, August 22, 2017 (UTC)
No, Lexicanum uses Atar-Median for the same world on its page for that world. I will just create a redirect. In future, just leave these issues on my page, not the Talk page for the article, as I'm the one who has to ultimately make the decision if we're going to have to retcon something wiki-wide. Thanks for the catch, that would have been extremely difficult to find otherwise.
Oh, one thing, I'll create a canon conflict section indicating the name change if you can give me the sources and page numbers for where its called Atar-Median and where they use the alternate Atar-Meridian (or you can add it if you like). No rush on this, but it would be good to point out the discrepancy and let people decide for themselves. Thanks again! Montonius (talk) 03:26, August 27, 2017 (UTC)
In answer to your question, no, it's better to have a separate page. The Castellax-Achea is a very different robot than the standard Castellax because of its unusual history and mode of usage, as well as its direct connection to the Thousand Sons. It should receive its own page to highlight these distinctions, rather than be buried as a list on the Castellax page where someone is very likely to overlook its unusual significance as a psyker-controlled robot. That's why it also has its own separate entry in the list of Imperial robots even though both Castellax classes are really only sub-classes of the Castellan, through even that is actually a ret-con of previous material from 1st and 2nd Edition. In truth, both Castellax classes could be placed as simple variants of the Castellan on its page, but that would obviously not do them justice. Same with the Castellax-Achea. If it was just a minor variant in weaponry or tactical mission, I would have done as you outlined, but its unusual background earns it a separate page due to notoriety. Hope that helps explain the reasoning. Montonius (talk) 06:19, August 29, 2017 (UTC)
Silberstich, I'm not seeing the sources where you're gaining some of the information for this article. The information on the weapons (Radium Weapons in particular) is not in the listed source. Please indicate all sources you are using for the article in the Sources section, or I will have to go over it and rip out all non-sourced material. If you want to continue to paraphrase, which is unnecessary as I noted, then you cannot supplement the source with any information unless it is also noted in the Sources section. If you simply haven't added the additional sources to the page yet, then please ignore this message.Montonius (talk) 00:44, September 21, 2017 (UTC)
Hi Silberstich, what's up? Imposter at the fanon wiki came up with a cool idead for an rp. It's set five years prior to the Horus Heresy at a random planet. You play as a space marine and fight through other xenos and rebellious humans. You are invited!

New Titan Class
I'm sure there may be new Titan classes coming, but we will wait until we get more confirmation on exactly what they might be with more information before adding them to pages. Thanks for the heads-up. Montonius (talk) 21:26, May 16, 2018 (UTC)
New Titan Class
I would late until more info becomes readily available. At this point, it would just be rumour and conjecture. Until there is more official information, I would hold off.

Hi SIlberstich! What's up? I've seen all the data that you have added to the Hospitallers, and I think that you have done a nice job. You just keep adding new data to the wiki relentlessly. I really don't know where do you find the time and the strength to do it?
I've been thinking about it. Thought that it would be inappropriate, but, you won't know until you try, right? I was thinking, maybe you could give me a hand with an article that I just cannot finish. Broken, The. I thought to add more data about them from the novel Calgar's Fury by paul Kearny, but there is much more work to handle than I've imagined.
I understand that you have way more projects to work on (and you have your own personal life). But if you could help me complete this article, then I will be forever in your debt! Of course, you don't owe me nothing, so I'll understand if you'll refuse. But any help will be appreciated.
Thanks Silberstich! If you want, I can send you the ebook to your email (which I will later delete on my talk page). There are 26 chapters in the book and I have already added half of the book to the article. I really appreciate your help!
Thanks again Silberstich! And no problem, all cool. I'll continue working on the article. Also you made a nice rebuttal on the sci-fi universes that can challenge the w40k thread.
It is alright. I am still grateful for any assistance that you will provide.
I generally use the template "delete" for eletion requests, as it gives you the chance to enter reasons and looks a tad better with the text given. It is somewhat superior to the category ^^Neithan02 (talk) 19:54, June 13, 2018 (UTC)
Mechanicum vs. Mechanicus
Just a heads up on terminology. "Mechanicum" is an archaic term only used to refer to the organisation during the Great Crusade and Horus Heresy eras. After the Reformation of the Imperium under Guilliman in the early 31st Millennium, the name was changed to Adeptus Mechanicus or just the Mechanicus. The terms cannot be used interchangeably.Montonius (talk) 22:30, June 18, 2018 (UTC)
Hi Silberstich! What's up? if you wanna chat, then we can talk in Discord.
Did you ask Zixes to take back over The Broken article? If not, please simply continue from where you left off and overwrite his recent additions. An article cannot be created successfully by fusing together two completely separate writing styles. It will create a disorganised and unreadabale mess. Since you have almost completed the article, please do so in your own style, unless this is what you agreed to, though I see no reason not to finish what you were so close to completing.Montonius (talk) 02:33, July 26, 2018 (UTC)
Hi Silberstich! Happy Holiday! (Though I am unsure what holiday everyone celebrates now). Yes I got a message from Monti, and I've replied to him. I know where you have left, so I've added some more data. I felt bad about myself giving you the entire job of finishing the article, so I thought to help you out. Consider the style of writing if you want. Monti may rewrite it anyway. If you want me to leave the article alone, then that is fine by me. If you need or want to rewrite my paragraphs, then so be it. Feel free to ask any other question.
You know what? Let's just do this. I will add the data and you will shape it however you want. And then Montonius will do with that what he wills. Good enough? Because I've checked your edits to my paragraghs and I am satisfied with it.
No, that's not really the best way to go about it. Zixes can add what he wishes as long as you agree Silberstich. But that article was yours as soon as he handed it off and you wrote the vast majority of it. The final draft is yours as well. Rewrite whatever you feel needs to be rewritten by Zixes according to your own specifications as you did his earlier material. You cannot slam two different writing styles together at the end, especially since you prefer a more broad summary and he copies more directly from the text. This also creates more work for me since I have to find a way to harmonise the sudden shift in tone and style. You are prime author of the article, Silberstich, and you should finish it as you deem fit. Also, I am sorry Zixes suddenly jumped in without warning you of his intentions after handing it off to you, I hope it was not a problem for you. Montonius (talk) 02:19, July 27, 2018 (UTC)
Hi Silberstich. Montonius contacted me and was unpleased by my intervention into your work. But it is not that bad. You have only 3 chapters left, so no big deal I guess.

Yeah. This whole thing looks more like an article for the Ultramarines. But thank you anyway Silberstich! I do not know when I would have finished the page if it were not for you. I owe you one. Now I can work on other articles.
Praetorian of Dorn
Hey Silberstich, in September 2016 I saw that you asked to reveal the big secret at the end of Praetorian of Dorn on the Alpharius page's Talk page. I don't know if you ever received an answer as I was on hiatus at that time, but please feel free to reveal the big secret that you talked about on that page, the Battle of Ploto page and the Rogal Dorn page, if you still would like to. We don't worry about spoilers here, so it's fine to do any big reveals you would like on our pages -- that's what the wiki is for. Montonius (talk) 20:08, September 9, 2018 (UTC)
Knight of Ashes
Nice work on Geratomran Conquest Silberstich. Before you move on to your next project, could you please complete the Knight of Ashes page? Having completed your work on that novel, it should be little more than a cut and paste job from your prior material. Thanks. Montonius (talk) 01:04, November 6, 2018 (UTC)
