RE: Chaos Gods

To answer your question, it is important to understand what a Chaos God is. As the Warp is born out of the reflections of emotions and beliefs of sentient species, and various abstract concepts, Chaos Gods are major warp entities that are made up of their respective emotional energies e.g. Khorne is made up of rage, war and battle. A Chaos God is formed when enough concentations of energy exist in the warp, where the energies will coalesce and generate a new god. This is how Slaneesh was made when the Eldar empire's decadence reached its peak.

Now, as a Chaos God is made up of the thoughts of sentient species, it would meant that to destroy a god, you will need to eliminate most, if not all, members of the sentient species generating the emotions that make them up. That would basically mean wiping out most of humanity, if not all races in the Milky Way Galaxy. Hence why  no one has tried to destroy a Chaos God yet.

However, it does seem possible to destroy a Chaos God using a more powerful Warp entity, which is what the Eldar myth of Ynnead revolves around.

Hope that answers your question.

Whilst there is no weapon that can kill the Chaos Gods unless it destroys sentient life (like the Halo installations from Halo), there is speculation from the fan-community that when the Emperor dies, the collective belief of the Imperium will allow him to become a god and defeat the Chaos Gods. Of course, that requires the Emperor to die in the first place and even then is only a maybe.

Not that I know of, no sorry; unless it was from very early Warhammer which I am not very familiar with. There is likely fan art floating around the Internet however if you search it up.
