Being an Icelander and a Viking re-enactor, the Vlyka Fenryka are very important to me as a Warhammer fan, and the story of the Wolf Brothers breaks my heart. When the Wolf King returns, he will have but  1000 marines plus the 13th Great Company. How the mighty have fallen...

    • The space wolves have more than a thousand marines in their chapter, as they managed not to be divided up into individual chapters, but remained an entire legion, and probably are still approxamitaley the same size. So no worries.

    • The different legions responded to the Codex Astartes with different levels of adherence. The Ultramarines, for instance, regard the work(written by their Primarch) with almost the same level of fanaticism as they regard the doctrines of the Emperor. The Wolves however, don't really care, so they kept their legion more or less intact, only cutting their number in half. The only known descendent Chapter, the Wolf Brothers, were discovered to be rife with mutation and was dissolved.
