The Ancient Awaits is a short story published in The Primarchs series that was originally part of an anthology. The Ancient Awaits was first published as part of the Sons of the Emperor anthology in February 2018. Synopsis
Impelled by the Crimson King, Vistario of the Thousand Sons Legion journeys to a nameless world with his fellow Sorcerers, where they find the ruins of a city lost to myth and a labyrinth of catacombs that harbour a long forgotten secret. The Ancient Awaits, but for whom?
