The Mark of Nurgle
The Tattleslug is a Daemon of Nurgle, the Chaos God of disease and despair, who specialised in gaining intelligence on enemy actions against the forces of the Plague Lord in the Materium.
A small, bizarre-looking winged maggot with rotting teeth, the Tattleslug is adept at gathering intelligence in the Materium through the possession of mortals. However he will only undertake these duties in exchange for a secret from his patron god that he deems to be of equal value.
During the Plague Wars he was summoned by the Great Unclean One Ku'gath to attempt to gather information as to Primarch Roboute Guilliman's intentions regarding his upcoming assault on the Ultramarian world of Iax. The Tattleslug possessed the Ultramar Auxilia captain Diamider Tefelius. While his possession of the man allowed the Tattleslug to discover that Guilliman did not yet know about the existence of a new Nurglish disease supposedly capable of even killing a primarch called the Godblight, he was discovered and slain by the Librarian Donas Maxim.
