The Tapestries of Riga are a series of tapestries located in the Silent Cloister of the Arx Angelicum, the fortress-monastery of the Blood Angels Chapter on their homeworld of Baal. The Silent Cloister is a corridor of the complex where no sound may be uttered as a show of reverence for the art displayed on its walls.
The Tapestries of Riga depict Sanguinius and the ancient Blood Angels Space Marine Legion battling the forces of the Slaughter-lord Morroga on the world of Riga during the Horus Heresy.
The tapestries depict Sanguinius slaying the so-called "Slaughter-lord" with his famed personal weapon, the Spear of Telesto.
