The article clearly states in multiple places Ferrus Manus was slain by Fulgrim, and that the rumours are just that, rumours. As to "not possibly" I would be very careful in making such statements in a science fiction universe. [[User:Montonius|Montonius]] ([[User talk:Montonius|talk]]) 18:55, November 12, 2012 (UTC)

"Deliverance Lost" If the Emperor mentioned there are 18 Primarchs when locating Corax, whatever happended to the two missing Primarchs IMHO must have happend after the location of Corax, because Alpharius was the last Primarch found

Revision as of 10:56, 20 November 2012

Rogal Dorn: Missing or Dead? (Clarification needed)

Loss of the Primarchs: Rogal Dorn...."all that remains is his skeletal fist"

List "Primarchs and Astartes Legions" : "Missing. Skeletal Hand(s) found"

but

Fate of the Primarchs: "..his dead body is encased in amber and also aboard the Phalanx."

Lexicanum: "Dorn's skeleton without his hands is kept within a chapel, and embedded in clear amber contoured to the body form of the Primarch himself"

I've read all the books that are mentioned in the references of the primarchs...

Where did anyone read that Dorn was dead??

Found his equipment and his fist, the rest vanished...

Please explain to me in what book I can read about the actual demise of Rogal Dorn.

Thanks!

Relating to the two missing Primarchs. Found something of interest in the False Gods book of the Horus Heresy, Chapter fifteen page 284 when Horus is in the chamber used to create the Primarchs:

He stopped by the tank with XI stenciled upon it and placed his hand against the smooth steel, feeling the untapped glories that might have lain ahead for what grew within, but knowing that they would never come to pass. He leaned forward to look within.

Later next to the tank:

'It is no reward at all,’ snarled Horus, hammering his hand into the side of the silver tank before him. The metal buckled and a hairline crack split the toughened glass under his assault. He could hear a desperate drumming from inside, and a hiss of escaping gas whined from the frosted panel of the tank.

shortly following the pods were taken by the warp to be deposited on their planets. So i assume XI died because its tank had been damaged.

Why would you assume that? This information has been known for a very long time. The fate of the two Primarchs remains deliberately unknown as a way for fans to solve their mystery for themselves, perhaps by creating their own Space Marine Legions derived from the missing Primarchs. I do not believe we will ever get an official canin answer to this mystery, nor should we. Montonius 18:36, November 30, 2010 (UTC)

Re Lost Primarchs - When the Emperor locates Corax in "Deliverance Lost" he states that there are eighteen primarchs, meaning that whatever befell the lost two occurred prior to this

Hold on a second. Part of this article says that Ferrus Manus could still be alive on mars because his body was restored. Who ever wrote that needs to read the book Fulgrim. In the book, the duel between ferrus manus and fulgrim is described in detail. Not to mention that the demon that possesed fulgrim takes the head of ferrus manus and gives it to horus. Thus, ferrus manus could not possibly be alive.71.180.175.41 20:37, November 11, 2012 (UTC)emptygolem
