A question, if I may.
The Ursus claws section. Is it proven to be spelled Ursus? Because the whole section is just a transcribed version of the audio drama Butcher's Nails, which brings me to the belief that it is not Ursus, but Ursa's. Ursa, being a short form of Ursine, or Bear, would make sense. The bears claws puncture, impale, and drag the foe in with menacing power. If it is written somewhere that it is Ursus claws rather than Ursa's claws, I would just like to know.
Ursus Claws or Ursa's Claws?[]
To answer your question, the proper spelling is "Ursus" as mentioned in the audio book Butcher's Nails, the novel Angel Exterminatus and sourced in the The Horus Heresy Betrayal - Book One, under the World Eaters section on page 96. It specifically mentions the Redjak Covenant, an Adeptus Mechanicus schismatic off-shoot, that was grateful for the World Eaters' help in freeing their world of Sarum from xenos control. In gratitude they refurbished their damaged flagship, the Adamant Resolve, turning it into the heavily-armoured Conqueror. It's most notable weapons being the aforementioned "Ursus Claw" system - the great void-harpooons designed to spear enemy vessels and drag them within reach of bloody boarding actions.
