The Silver Sabres is a Codex Astartes-compliant Loyalist Space Marine Chapter of unknown Founding and origin. Almost nothing is known about this Chapter in current Imperial records. Following the events that took place on the world of Vhospis, the Chapter's current status is unknown.

- Battle of Vhospis (984.M41) - In 984.M41 a Warp rift opened above the Feudal World of Vhospis. The beleaguered defenders, their technological level so low that they still relied on polearms and metal armour, were easy prey for the daemon invaders. An astropathic distress call reached the Silver Sabres Space Marine Chapter, whose Chapter planet, Mercuria, was less than a light year distant. Unfortunately for Vhospis, daemons hunting the skies above the planet's besieged castles destroyed almost all of the Drop Pods launched towards the surface. A single Silver Sabres Space Marine survived, and rallied the people of Vhospis, reigniting their potent faith in the Emperor. Slowly, day by gore-soaked day, he began to turn the tide.
Notable Silver Sabres[]
- Deathwatch Sergeant Udon - Udon was a Battle-Brother of the Silver Sabres who served in the Deathwatch, the Chamber Militant of the Ordo Xenos. Having risen to the command of his own Kill-team, Sergeant Udon was seconded to Inquisitrice Sashella and her efforts to stop the depredations of the Drukhari within the Agritha Sub-sector. Sergeant Udon is believed to have been slain on Agritha IV, although since all that was ever found of him was his helm, the possibility remains that he may have been taken to Commorragh as a valuable slave.
