Calixis Sector Lord Marius Hax
A sector lord, also called a sector governor, is an Imperial noble who serves as the governing Imperial Commander of an entire sector and/or sub-sector of Imperial space. Most sector lords are also the planetary governor of their sector's capital or most important world. The duties of a sector lord, who are usually formally addressed as "Lord Sector," or "Lord" and then the title of their governed sector or sub-sector such as "Lord Calixis," are similar to those of a planetary governor, but encompass multiple star systems or multiple sub-sectors.
Sector lords themselves come from a variety of backgrounds including the Imperial nobility of their region of space or even from the high-ranking prelates of the Ecclesiarchy such as a cardinal.
Notable Sector Lords[]
- Marius Hax - Marius Hax was the sector lord of the Calixis Sector who ruled from the sector capital world of Scintilla, of which he was also the planetary governor.
- Morst Bolifax - Bolifax was a cardinal of the Ecclesiarchy and the sector lord of the Veritus Sub-sector in the Segmentum Solar.
