A Plasma Storm Battery is an ancient form of Plasma Cannon utilised only by the Dark Angels Space Marine Chapter and the Successor Chapters of the Unforgiven. This relic weapon was long held in the armoury of The Rock. With the discovery of the STC for the Land Speeder Vengeance in the 36th Millennium, the Plasma Storm Battery was mated to that deadly variant of the standard Land Speeder. The Plasma Storm Battery is essentially an archaic pair of large Plasma Cannons mated together to fire in synch, much like a twin-linked weapon. With this formidable weapon, the Land Speeder Vengeance is able to deliver devastating volleys of potent plasma against its foes. It can fire in two modes: a rapid burst mode, or a slower, supercharged mode that emits a toroid of plasma to explode over a larger area for higher damage to the foe.
