NemesisDreadknight

Grey Knight Nemesis Dreadknight

The Nemesis Dreadknight is a humanoid construct deployed by the Grey Knights.

History

The Nemesis Dreadknight was created by the Grey Knights to be the ultimate weapon in the fight against Chaos, specifically against Greater Daemons. Taller, stronger and more heavily armoured than standard Astartes, a Nemesis Dreadknight is a smaller version of a dreadnought.

The pilot is attached to his Dreadknight in a similar way a Tau is attached to his battlesuit, by synaptic implants. To have the reflexes, both pysically and mentally, to pilot a Dreadknight, Grey Knight Marines have to train for many years to be able to pilot this menacing piece of machinery and many do not make it.

Armament and Equipment

A Nemesis Dreadknight is normally armed with one or two Nemesis Force Weapons, such as Nemesis Doomfists, a Nemesis Greatsword or a Nemesis Daemon Hammer. Dreaknights are often equiped with ranged weapons as well, such as a Heavy Incinerator, a Gatling Psilencer or a Heavy Psycannon.

Many Dreadknight also make use of personal teleporters to deploy the use of lighting-fast strike attacks against an enemy that rarely knows fear.
