  • Hello there,

I work as a CTM for Fandom and I just had a question regarding the new "Darktide" game coming up. I've been tasked with adding info about it here, but I haven't found any references or a page for it yet so I wanted to touch base to see first if that is something you want on your wiki. If you do, my second question would be what format/templates/etc should I be using to make that happen? If you guys would rather handle it on your own, that's fine too and I understand :)

No rush at all, and thank you for your time and consideration!

    - Ferthi

    • We will do this page when the game releases. We do not engage in creating pages for products that do not yet formally exist. We are not a video game wiki; we are a wiki for the entirety of the Warhammer 40,000 hobby. Normally, a video game like that will get its own entire wiki just for the game; our role will be to simply let users know it exists -- when it actually exists. Additionally, our editors will create the page when the time comes, there is no need for you to do so for a game that has no information beyond what is currently in press releases and a few pre-release videos and images.

    • I hope it is not too presumptuous, but also, never forget, that many a times, game content for 40k is not really canon information, wether it is, for example, battlefleet gothic 2, space marine, battle of tallarn etc, all of them have stuff in them, which removes them from "40k canon"

    • Totally fine! Thank you guys, I'll make sure the boss knows and we will leave it to you :)

  • The image that says - Warsmith Honsou of the Iron Warriors Legion at the Battle of Hydra Cordatus during the 13thBlack Crusade -- on Iron Warriors page isnt actually Honsou it is Warsmith Barban Falk. This would also make the image on Honsou page that reads --Honsou leads his fellow Iron Warriors in the attack on the world of Hydra Cordatus.-- Barbon Falk as well as you can see that character looks the same.

    • Hey sorry to bother you. You forgot the other one on the actual Iron Warriors page the one that says--Warsmith Honsou of the Iron Warriors Legion at the Battle of Hydra Cordatus during the 13thBlack Crusade is actually Barbon Falk as well. its tord the bottom of the page.

  • If you and the admin staff agree, I'm going to be doing the same thing here as I did on the Age of Sigmar wiki, renaming [[Category:Browse]] to [[Category:{{SITENAME}}]].

    • Sure go for it. On the Warhammer Fantasy wiki please remember to inform Aresius and Mr Paraduo before making any changes. You already have my agreement and you may tell them so.

  • Heyy, I've just been going over the Horus Heresy page and there's an error under the Unification section.

There's a picture of Kiron, an Emperor's Children warrior, listed as a Thunder Warrior. The artwork used is from the cover of the Outcast Dead, and it's also his character card from the Horus Heresy Legions card game.

  • Did you not want the info from his wounded after he was shot down in Slaves to darkness that I added on there? It was large part of his story in that book happening after he broke orders. I know in a book i cant rememeber name to he had a missing left eye replaced with a simple blank silver ball augmetic. well in Slaves to darkness after being shot down he wakes in the apothcary. he notices he cant see and the magos there tells him his bionic was turned off and that his remaining eye along with that side of his head was lost in the blast. well after turning his eye back on volk sees that he is just a fusion of augmetics and burnt flesh with a head now made of iron as well as all of his limbs missing. idk i just thought it was large part of his lore in that this guy is basically mostly machine now.

    • I understand that you are trying to be helpful and thank you. But it is not a character page for him. You included that piece of information at length and in more detail than necessary but left out many other far more important things from his biography which simply left the entry incomplete and therefore unhelpful.

Don't create an entry unless you know ALL of the information on that subject and all of the sources. You do not have the experience to create entries for us and this is really not a wiki for beginners to just jump right in.

In general, we ask new users to learn our formatting and guidelines before making any major edits. If you want to be helpful, it would be best if you started by checking existing pages for factual errors and typos until you are much more familiar with our content and formats.

Additionally, I cannot respond to every concern you have every day, though thank you for all the cool things you've added and brought to my attention.

  • Its minor nothing major but I noticed under gear it says  he wielded his wolf claw. This is actually incorrect as he never used the claw until after he lost his left arm. There is a short story I can't remember the name but he tells how he stole the claw from the Space Wolves forge. Basically the claw is his left hand, it replaced his hand rather then just having been worn.

  • Gorgutz 'Ead 'Unter was to win on Lorn V and Kronus. Orks are either impossible to defeat, or with great difficulty, and their opponents are insignificant weaklings (although the Necrons and Chaos could give some kind of rebuff), which in fact, they could not lose.

  • So I was looking through the Ultra Marines codex and I  found this image. no were in the book does it state he became a Dreadnought, but this Dreadnought  in the pic does share his name and exact company number. I dont think thats just a coincidence.

    • Warframelord please don't add lore to large pages, those stories are much more detailed than what you are adding and it really isn't up to our quality standards. If you want to be helpful as a new editor, if you find any major factual errors, please let me know and I can repair them.
