The Lords of Pain is a warband of Chaos Space Marines that was once a Loyalist Chapter of Space Marines. This Renegade Space Marine Chapter fell to Chaos after the birth of the Great Rift in 999.M41 during the 13th Black Crusade. After their fall to the service of the Ruinous Powers, the Lords of Pain were among the Forces of Chaos to face Roboute Guilliman and his Indomitus Crusade as it sought to reconquer the galaxy in the Emperor's name. Little else is currently known about them in Imperial records.
