The Legio Castigatum was a Loyalist Titan Legion of the Collegia Titanica.

There is very little information in Imperial records about this obscure Titan Legion, and it is unknown when it was founded or even from what Forge World it hails.

Legion History

Notable Campaigns

  • Fear the Shadows (462.M41) - The Drukhari Kabal of the Black Heart struck at the Hive World of Lapradus, but were hurled back in disarray by the intervention of Titans from the Legio Castigatum. Mere solar days later, Princeps Gendath -- the author of Castigatum's victory -- was murdered on his own bridge. He was hacked to shreds within his amniotic tank by hissing horrors that slithered into being amid the thrashing soup of the tank. The murky shapes disappeared as suddenly as they struck, leaving only a half-frozen mulch of blood and shattered armaglass in their wake.

Notable Personnel

  • Princeps Gendath - Gendath was the princeps who led the Legio Castigatum to victory over the Drukhari of the Kabal of the Black Heart on the world of Lapradus. He was assassinated only a few solar days later within his own amniotic tank by an unnatural assault likely unleashed in revenge by the Drukhari.
