The Las-beam Cutter is a laser tool employed by the Brôkhyr engineers and artisans of the Leagues of Votann that can sometimes double as a short-ranged but relatively powerful Laser Weapon. The Las-beam Cutter, as its name implies, is primarily used as a cutting tool whose powerful directed energy beam can cut through most materials in the course of a Brôkhyr's most current project.
On the battlefield, Brôkhyr Iron-masters are often engaged with making field repairs and upgrades to Kin vehicles and wargear, and are accompanied by a robotic Ironkin assistant who sometimes is forced to use this tool as a weapon in the course of combat to defend themselves or their Brôkhyr comrade.
