The Knights of Byzantium is a Loyalist Space Marine Chapter and a successor of the Iron Hands raised during the Ultima Founding. As such, it is composed entirely of Primaris Space Marines.
In battle, the Chapter is known for bringing as much firepower as possible to bear on the foe and also employs many Dreadnoughts, who they venerate deeply like their Iron Hands primogenitors.

Chapter Colours
The Knights of Byzantium wear purple power armour with black insets. The shoulder trim on their armourials is bronze.
The Aquila or Imperialis on the chest plate is bronze. A white tactical specialty marking stenciled on the right shoulder guard indicates a battle-brother's assigned squad specialty -- battleline, fire support, close support, Veteran or command.
A small white High Gothic numeral stenciled on the right knee guard indicates the battle-brother's assigned company.
It is not known how squad number is designated.
Sergeants are identified by bronze helmets, while Veteran sergeants are identified with white insets and black squad specialty markings. Officers are identified by their golden helmets.
Veterancy can be identified by a left gauntlet that is bronze.
Chapter Badge
The Knights of Byzantium's Chapter badge is a white hippocampus, a mythological creature depicted as having the upper body of a horse with the lower body of a fish.
Trivia
The Knights of Byzantium were created by Harvey Snape, a member of Games Workshop's Warhammer World studio team, and the Chapter was showcased on the Warhammer Community website.
