The Knights Cerulean is a Loyalist Space Marine Chapter comprised entirely of Primaris Space Marines, created from the lineage of the Ultramarines and raised during the Ultima Founding of 999.M41.
The Knights Cerulean were originally members of the Unnumbered Sons who accompanied Lord Commander of the Imperium Guilliman to the Realm of Ultramar as part of the Indomitus Crusade and took part in the Plague Wars.
The Chapter was created after the end of the Indomitus Crusade in the early 42nd Millennium and their numbers were originally drawn from the remaining Unnumbered Sons of Ultramarines descent.
The Unnumbered Sons were the nine Legion-sized forces which comprised half of the Primaris Space Marines created during the Ultima Founding who were not placed within the normal Adeptus Astartes Chapter structure.

- Plague Wars (Unknown Date.M42) - The future members of the Knights Cerulean were among the Primaris Space Marines who accompanied Primarch Roboute Guilliman as members of the Unnumbered Sons when he went to the aid of the Realm of Ultramar during the Plague Wars.
