Kindred is a term used to define a family or group of Kroot Carnivores and their Shaper leader. Kroots can also specialise their kindreds to possess specific abilities and roles in Kroot society.
Some notable kindreds include the Headhunter Kindred, who have devoured the most poisonous creature they can find which has allowed them to spit posion at their enemies.
The Stalker Kindred have devoured the stealthiest creatures they could find and now are masters of stealth themselves.
The Vulture Kindred have grown wing adaptations which allow them to soar on air currents but not to truly fly.
The Tracker Kindred are excellent riders and scouts.
The Hunter Kindred possess the most Kroot Hunting Rifles as they possess the most accurate shots among the species.
