A Jump Pack Intercessor, usually part of a Jump Pack Intercessor Squad, are Primaris Space Marines who are among the most mobile close support units in a Space Marine Chapter's arsenal.
The Jump Pack Intercessors are selected from the most aggressive members of their Chapters, and pair dizzying close combat skills with the raw mass of a fully-armoured Space Marine flying headfirst into enemy ranks. They have a special Jump Pack derived from the built-in Jump Pack used on Mark X Gravis Power Armour suits that is attachable to their standard suits of Mark X Tacticus Power Armour. They are armed with chainswords and Heavy Bolt Pistols as standard weaponry.
The sergeants who command Jump Pack Intercessor Squads may carry any type of Power Weapon or a Power Fist into the fray, making them a threat to heavier armour while their battle-brothers in the squad bury the enemy under a storm of chainsword cuts. Sergeants also have the option to wield a Plasma Pistol or Hand Flamer, while one member of the squad per every five Astartes can also requisition a Plasma Pistol.

- Primaris Intercessor Jump Pack - This Jump Pack pattern is based on the design of the built-in Jump Pack of the Mark X Gravis Power Armour and Mark X Omnis Power Armour variants created by Archmagos Dominus Belisarius Cawl and used by Primaris Marine Inceptors and Suppressors. It is more maneuverable in atmosphere than most other patterns of Astartes Jump Pack, largely because like the built-in Jump Packs available on Gravis and Omnis Power Armour, it possesses a pair of Grav-chutes to aid the Astartes while in flight or freefall. This Jump Pack pattern, however, is detachable and is designed to be fitted to standard Mark X Tacticus Power Armour so that it can be used by Primaris Jump Pack Intercessors in a close support role.
