The Ironclast is a Traitor Titan Legion in the service of the Ruinous Powers.
Legion History[]
Notable Campaigns[]
- Velchanos Magna Castigation (Unknown Date.M41) - The Legio Interfectra, under the command of Magos Explorator Omnid Torquora, was deployed alongside Skitarii forces and Centurio Ordinatus to the Forge World of Velchanos Magna, to take it from an invading Chaos forces comprised of the dreaded Iron Warriors Traitor Legion, Dark Mechanicum and the Ironclast Traitor Titan Legion. Deploying in force, the Legio Interfectra sent multiple maniples comprised of a mix of Imperator, Reaver, and Warhound Titans. The Imperial god-engines proceeded to level the corrupted planet's hive cities and engaged the Ironclasts' Chaos-corrupted Titans. Fighting amongst the ore-depleted peaks of the Augol Mountains, during their initial engagement against the fallen Titan Legion, several Warhound and Reaver Titans were destroyed by the Ironclast. Meanwhile, the Warhound-class Titan Canis Corporalis supported Skitarii forces in their attack upon Metra-Minoria's hab-stacks, before being called upon to attack a reserve by the magos explorator. Though the Warhound killed a force of Iron Warriors Heretic Astartes, it also tragically killed several doomed Adeptus Mechanicus defenders, including Skitarii Ansis-86 Oltega and Tech-priest Dominus Theronymous Gant. The Canis Corporalis was later destroyed by the combined fire of three Ordinatii war machines that attacked it from range, outside the Warhound Titan's weapon range. Another of the Legio Interfectra's Titans was felled during an operation in the Targaria Mountains. At the epic conclusion of the campaign, Magos Explorator Torquora successfully utilised a prototype Gellar device to destroy the corrupted planet. The surviving members of the Legio Interfectra managed to make their way back aboard the orbiting Imperial vessels and departed while sustaining heavy fire from the doomed enemy forces on the planet below.
