A Biophagus Injector Goad
An Injector Goad is a special device used by the Biophaguses of Genestealer Cults that serves both as a tool in their sinister work of bio-alchemy and as a horrific weapon of war.
The Injector Goad that each Biophagus carries contains concoctions of the alchemist's own devising, virulent gene-brews that temporarily grant one of their Aberrant subjects enhanced strength and speed.
When marching to war surrounded by a phalanx of Power Hammer-wielding Aberrants, the Biophagus unleashes their finest creations, using the Injector Goad to hurl vials of corrosive acids and flesh-morphing mutagens that melt their foes into a protean ooze.
A Biophagus Injector Goad can pump stimulating chemicals into the blood of their faithful Aberrant bodyguards, but it can also be put to use against mortal flesh in melee combat. Those struck with this weapon who do not bear the Genestealer Curse within their cells are dissolved from within by a hyper-adrenal alien cocktail.
