A Haywire Mine is a powerful, heavy-duty Imperial explosive device that is often used to destroy or incapacitate enemy armoured vehicles. The electrophantasmic blasts of these weapons can banish Machine Spirits (artificial inteiigences) from enemy wargear and cripple augmetic enhancements.
The Haywire Mine is a weapon commonly employed by the Incursor Squads of the Adeptus Astartes. Some Incursors carry the heavy Haywire Mines into battle, planting them at pre-cogitated nexuses of probable enemy movement where the blasts can prove most effective at incapacitating enemy machines.
