Icon of the Astra Militarum
The Formund Scorpions are Astra Militarum regiments raised from the Imperial world of Formund.
The Formund Scorpions field mechanised infantry and artillery regiments. Its mechanised units are equipped, among other vehicles, with Salamander Scouts.
The regiments' small arms include Mark II Accatran Pattern laspistols. The Formund Scorpions also traditionally carry special combat knives, which they call their "Stingers."
The Formund Scorpions contributed 2 regiments of artillery to the Haephos Containment during the Era Indomitus and contributed 2 artillery regiments to that campaign to aid in the defence of Haephos's Volushun Shipyards.

- Formund 41st Mechanised Regiment ("Armoured Scorpions") - The 41st Formund Scorpions were deployed in combat against various xenos species. Its forces have also fought alongside Inquisition contingents at least once in their history.
