Icon of the Blood Angels Chapter
The Fleet Nihilus is a massive Imperial armada of starships that has been created on the orders of and is commanded by Commander Dante of the Blood Angels Chapter of Space Marines in his role as the regent and warden of the Imperium Nihilus.
It uses the Blood Angels' own Skyfall Ultrus-scale starport in the Baal System as its primary orbital fleet dock and shipyard and is composed of warships that Dante has been able to summon to Baal, or that fled there seeking safety in the wake of the birth of the Great Rift and the fall of the Noctis Aeterna across the Imperium Nihilus.
The regent of the Imperium Nhilus believes that the Fleet Nihilus can serve as the nucleus of an Imperial reclamation force similar to the Indomitus Crusade operating in the Imperium Sanctus that will restore the Emperor's rule to the vast domain placed in Dante's charge by Lord Commander of the Imperium Roboute Guilliman.
