The Draxian Hegemony is a young xenos domain of which very little is known, except that it has recently begun to expand at the expense of the Imperium of Man, and that Inquisitor Helynna Valeria treated with them in order to expand her knowledge of this species.

Individually, this upstart empire does not represent a threat to the dominance of Humanity, but if their invasions are analysed in conjunction with those of other small powers, such as the T'au Empire, the now extinct Ulumeathi, the Worldweave of the Noisome Reek and the Church of Dracolith, their containment implies the draining of valuable military resources.

Their forces have clashed at least once against the Red Talons Chapter, in a battle in which the Contemptor Pattern Dreadnought Skara Brae was deployed.

In 617.M40, the Draxian Hegemony launched the so-called Draxian Incursion. The Space Wolves Chapter responded by sending Kjarl Grimblood's Great Company to Medes 841, where they fought against the xenos.

Later the Inquisition redacted all existing information on this conflict, so the only remaining evidence are the battle honours granted to the Thunderhawk gunship Morkai and the loss of a Whirlwind.
