The Dragon Lords are a Loyalist Space Marine Chapter whose Founding and origins are unknown.
In 998.M41, all contact was lost with the Dragon Lords' Chapter planet, Erwynn's World, even before the emergence of the Great Rift.

By immense and costly efforts, an Indomitus Crusade Torchbearer task force later discovered them fighting still, having been nearly annihilated by successive Hrud invasions that came close to reducing their fortress-monastery to dust through the use of those xenos' temporal distortion abilities.
The Dragon Lords vowed to rebuild and have been fully reinforced by their Primaris Marine brethren. They now wage war anew in the Imperium Nihilus.

Chapter Colours
The Dragon Lords primarily wear dark green power armour. The shoulder plates are white with dark green trim. The Aquila or Imperialis on the chest plate is orange.
The black squad tactical specialty symbol -- battleline, close support, fire support, Veteran or command -- is indicated on the right shoulder plate.
The white High Gothic numeral centred on the squad specialty symbol indicates squad number.
An orange High Gothic numeral on the left knee guard indicates company number.
Often orange flames are used to decorate the extremities of the Dragon Lords' battle-plate.
Chapter Badge
The Dragon Lords' Chapter badge is a rearing black dragon breathing orange flame, on a field of white.
