The Darkstar Fighter is a Craftworld Aeldari void fighter capable of operation in both vacuum and atmosphere. It is an interceptor, intended to combat other void fighters and protect Aeldari bombers during ship-to-ship actions.
Darkstar Fighters are highly advanced voidcraft. Their technology provides them with extraordinary agility and speed compared to the interceptors of other spacefaring species.
The Darkstar employs some form of unknown inertial dampening system which grants the fighter the ability to turn instantaneously without subjecting the pilot to deadly levels of acceleration.
The Darkstar is powered by an unknown crystal generator technology that grants the capability to operate for longer durations than the short-range fighters of the other major galactic powers.
