A Contorted Epitome is a daemonic construction in the form of a great mirror used by the Daemons of Slaanesh to unleash and deny psychic powers on the battlefield.
Rivalry is common among the Daemons of Slaanesh, but those few that can abide each other's presence are often assigned as stewards of an ornate Mirror of Absorption.
These semi-sentient relics are taken from the Pleasure Palace of Slaanesh in the Realm of Chaos and used in battle to absorb the psychic energies of the Dark Prince's foes, before turning them back with terrifying effectiveness.
Each mirror holds an immense reserve of psychic energy and is also used by the Dark Prince's Daemons to manifest the Chaos God's power to aid its servants in combat.
A Contorted Epitome can also deny Slaanesh's daemonic and mortal enemies the ability to use their own psychic powers.
