A Colossus (pl. Colossi) is a massive mobile fortress used by the Leagues of Votann.
The Colossi are vast machines each the size of a city block, which are used as mobile mining installations and ore refineries by the Leagues of Votann. They are primarily used to scout new Kin Mining Worlds for valuable strategic mineral deposits and move from one ore seam to the next, constructing highly efficient, automated mining facilities over each region of valuable ore before moving on.
Ever adaptable, the Kin have also taken this basic design and replaced the mining equipment with weapons of war, producing two new kinds of mobile fortress, the Leviathan and the Colossus. The Colossus is a mobile fortress that bristles with potent Kin weaponry and massive ballistic cannons capable of unleashing explosive shells the size of a man.
