dive in peopleĀ :)
i totally agree that we're at the best possible juncture to break the cycle, i was just saying that it may be a perpetuation of the cycle. i will try to see amazing discoveries at some point as it's obviously left an impression.Ā as for what the elite are planning - i don't doubt for a second that for as bad as things might be, they will get far worse, and when everyone tries to take down the governments and corporations there will be another global war.Ā given the level of ourĀ weapons technology another world war could easily be the last thing humans do.
when i say 'get off this rock' i don't mean "the planet's broken lets bail" (although we are in the process ofĀ breaking it). i agree that nature will heal. i see the worlds ecosphere as a closed system that can, and does,Ā regulate pollution - within limits, so we do need to cut down on pollutants quite a ways first. i was partly referring to apofis but there's far more 'near earth objects' than most people think,Ā quite a few ofĀ themĀ are large enough to cause massive global damage, and they only need a little nudge at the right (wrong) time to put them in a collision orbit, this doesn't include the multitude of 'planet killers' in the asteroid belt though,Ā that can also be nudged into a collision orbit. to add to that is the fact that we've mapped a miniscule portion of our solar system (i think it's something like 1%) and there's far more objects that we have no idea where they might end up (until we have found them though this is merely speculative). however, even in the best case scenario and nothing hits, this planets lifespan is only another 2 billion years (granted it's a long time, but not on the universe's scale and i would love humans to still be around then, hopefully with a truly civilised system-spanning civilisation) when it'll be evaporated by the sun.
when i say 'get off this rock' i mean we have people willing to go on a one way trip to mars, right now,Ā and the technology toĀ start the long process of terraforming mars' atmosphere into a breathable andĀ life sustaining one, i think there was an estimateĀ that mars could have a breathable atmosphereĀ within 100 years, but that could just be wishful thinking. at the very least there ought to be a shuttle program to replace the program that was recently retired, but as far as i know there isn't anything planned to replace them, other than people saying "we're going to replace them". a part of me died when the shuttle program diedĀ :(
but earth is 'just a rock' (so that makes mars 'rockier'), well it's mostly rock - 90% or so, molten and chilled, but i'm just being pedanticĀ :)
i wouldn't sayĀ 'that there is no force in the universe more resilient than nature' though, i'd say 'there is no force in the universe more tenacious than nature'. to quote everyones favourite 'terrible lizzard' movie "life finds a way".
Sometimes i am uncertain if we really are. For those in power that are puposly destroying humanity and undermining the values and intelligence of the species will do anything to stay in power. That would mean that unless all the people of the world act together to remove them, the attempts at that will be dismissed or not covered by the fully controled Mass media that most people rely on for `real information` on significant events. Most people do not seem to realise that on a daily basis people everywhere are rising up and there are protest all around the world. The mass media purposely doesn`t cover them so as not to start a chain reaction or keep people in the dark about what is really happening in the world. An example of the extent of the manipulation would be this. First world war- 10% civilian casualties, II WW- 40% civilian casualties, war in Vietnam- 60% civilian casualties, `war` in Iraq- over 90% civilian casualties. So, because CNN shows some pictures of a soldier pointing their gun at `something`, or shows how their military drop bombs on buildings, people seem to think that `Wow! they must be `fighting a war`. The masses of society do not seem to realise that the media NEVER shows what happens afrer the US bombs a hospital, and the bodies of the dead children there, or what that soldier is shooting at.
Fun Fact: The Us government has a policy to disclose classified information after the span of 50 years. They confessed that they did everything to provoke the attack on Pearl Harbour and knew of it well in advance. Just needed a reason to enter the war. They also admitted that the reson for entering the war in Vietnam was forged. So, we have to wait 40 years for them to confess to september 11 fot a reason to invade Iraq. Of course the media there did not cover the protests in fron of the White house, or the site of the towers. They also seem to make movies about those events afterwards, as additional forgery, because most people would rather watch them instead of acually reading.
Which leads me to my point. If an improvement of the state of the world is to happen the people need to be able to distinguish clearly between the propaganda and what really happened. That means they need intelligence to make that distinction. Are the current generations, and will the future ones be smart enought for that? That is what worries me.
You are correct, only less than 2 percent of the sky is being monitored for planet killer asteroids, or celestial bodies. And of course most people think that if an asteroid on a collision course is detected we can just throw some nukes at it, blow it up , and its gonna be fine. Ignorance rarely gets more severe than that.
I agree that humanity can and should colonise other planets. But i also think that before we do that our home planet should be healed. Destroying a planet, harvesting all of its rescources and then moving on is simply not an option. The planet Earth has enought rescources to sustain ,by some estimates, a population of 15 billion. That is only feasible if the rescource managment system such as the Venus project comes to fruition.
Don`t worry about the shuttle program. As i said, the level of technology made available to people and that working in a lab, or experimentations is ,at the least, 100 years different. There already are models and experiments with existing technology that make the model of the space shuttles obsolete. What needs to be answered is where are all the funds going, if not for the space program.
The planet earth is an ocean planet. If all the water stored in the mantle of the planet goes to the surface mt Everest would be underwater by a few kilometeres. Even the natural climate of the planet is not supposed to be stable and mild. People seem to think that this `global warming` will lead to longer summer, but it will actually lead to a severe ice age.
I agree with on that, you are correct.
i'm very aware of the fabricated reasons for 'legitimately' invading places, and the propaganda that backs up the 'rightous, god fearing' warmongers. our entire societies are propaganda incarnate which is why so few recognize it - as much as i hate it i have to admit thatĀ propaganda does its job admirably.Ā
when it comes to population i believe that more is worse. while the earth may have the capability, under the venus program,Ā to physicallyĀ sustain 15 billion, i don't think we have a modelĀ to psychologically sustain 7 billion let alone 15. the more people there are the moreĀ indifferent and hostileĀ people become towards others. this leads to disillusionment and discontent - which thenĀ breeds contempt and hatred, which in turn breeds petty conflicts that canĀ polarize people and then turn into open conflict. as much as i want the venus program i genuinely think it'll never work with so many people. while we are a social species we are alsoĀ an inately aggressive and territorial species, and these traits are amplified the more people are added to it.
global warming - anotherĀ issue that is subject to massive ignoranceĀ :)
while human emissions can, and have, affected the climate it seems that most people completely ignore the fact that earth's climate has never ever been stable. since this planet first developed a climate it has been in constant flux.
granted that humans can do irrepairable damage to the climate, but after the 'hole in the ozone layer' i think we just escaped causing terminal (for us) damage. however, a long time ago in a land far far away, when humans were little rodent-ish creatures and had no say in the climate, the planets average temperature was higher byĀ 10 degrees celcius. not only this but the earth has, so far, went through about 6 ice ages, and after each one the polar caps melted and the planets temperature, and sea level, Ā raised dramatically.Ā i say 'so far' because technically were still in the ass-end of the last ice age because we still have ice caps. this is what will cause the next ice age to be severe - we are actually due for an ice age (in terms of the gap between ice ages) but we haven't fully left the last one.
the problem with people's perceptions on this is the short-term view - "i've known blistering summers all my life and these days it's definitely colder." when it comes to planetary climate change it's timeline is roughly analogous toĀ geology.
the short-term view can also be considered the main issue with most of what we've talked about. most issues have to be solved "within my lifetime" or "within my elected term", and when people don't see results immediately they just think "well it's not working so lets just scrap it."
i agree that we need to fix our civilisation at home before we go galavanting around the local cluster, but if the venus project fails (or is never tried) at home, then itĀ could be implemented as the basisĀ of the first colony and should work absolutely peachy. my worry is that if we don't fix our civilisation soon and attempt colonisation then we will be extinct within 500 years, and what worries me most in this scenario is the likelyhood that we'll destroy most (if not all) of the life on this planet.
regardless of how resilient or tenacious life is, it is alsoĀ frighteningly fragile.
On a personal note. Final exams are over! Vacation in two weeks!
It is quite sad that if there is a propaganda that sends the wrong message to people and pushes them towards further ignorance and alienation of basic values such as humility, honoring your parents and other people, altruism and all that you need another one, counter propaganda, that exposes the negative first one. Oh the irony. That positive propaganda, so to speak, is in the forms of books, documentaries and public events. Things that most people seem to almolst find taboo `Wow! don`t read that book! You might learn something!`, it seems that most people, for various of reasons, are incapable to make their own opinion based on observation, analisis and action, and those who do generally have a fundamentally different view of the world.
Have you noticed it? How society is slowly becoming divided between those with knowledge and those with nothing but ignorance and fabricated opinions? A clash is coming.
More is worse in the scenarion where there is overcrowding and not enought for everybody. The population of the planet is not equally distributed. You have small villages and megapolises which are overcrowded. If the population is distributed in a way that is restricted by rescourcse, that is to say the population will be as high as not to strain the rescources of the area an provide plenty for all. If that happens megapolises, and concentration of population in the tens of millions will be a thing of the past. And the notion of ` inately aggressive and territorial` applies in circumstances where there is lack of living space and basic commodities, while i cannot say for certain, those traits will dissapear if the circumstances for them are not present.
Correct! Callummacdonald good sir, you`re even smarter than I thought! The planet is due for an ice age. Every climatologist agrees with that. So why hasn`t the Ice age happened? The answer is an unnatural ...`incident`? of nature and climate called Gulf Stream. It is responsible for the unnaturaly stable climat of the planet. Why will global warming lead to an ice age? The increase of global temperature is causing artic ice to melt, adding more fresh water to Gulf Stream and thus destabilizingĀ it. The amount of salt in the water, which rises its temperature, is lessened, causing the water to cool. That is the basis of it. What happens if an ice age comes? It will become so cold that transportation, such as cars or planes will stop working, consumption of fuel and rescources will rise so that people will stay warm, death of species and humans due to cold, the economy will collapse, again, and that is the tip of it. The Russians might live through it...
Short term view is generally because of lack of knowledge. It is one of the main issues, right next to abiding by the mainstream views and norms of current society, lack of values, and inability to prioritise properly what is most important.
Agreed, if there is a first large colony, it would probably be a paradise when compared to the current state of Earth. So 500 years? Hell, I give us 200. And if WW 3 happens, then 30 years. Everytime i hear someone say `The future generation will fix it`, it is almolst an instinct to punch em. I am certain there are some grandparents out there who said the same things, and look where that got Planet. We either deal with problems now or they destroy us in the future.
Life is fragile? I disagree on that. In the history of the Planet there have been several instances where over 90% of all life and species was exterminated. The worst one was when a solar storm hit earth, passed the ozone layer, which was stronger then, at eviscerated about 98% of all life on the planet. And i have to say `death by solar radiation` is extremelyĀ horrific. All life on the planet is carbon based. Direct ultraviolet radiation from the suns tears apart carbon, something between liquidation and evisceration. And if a solar storm was to hit the planet now, with the ionosphere as weakened as it is...
But it is not all bad news. I strongly reccomend you watch Amazing Discovries by Professor Walter j. Veith. That is the ultimate documentary. It puts together ALL the pieces of the puzzle and reveals everything. All the things that man said are true. Why? I personally attempted to disprove them. And I couldn`t. All the information is based on solid material, historical facts and quotes, factually it is unshalable. Wheter you believe it or not, is your own choice. To start with watch episodes 4,5 and 21. If those do not make an impression, then feel free not to watch the rest.
if or when the next ice age hits, yeah, modern society will be destroyed but humans will survive it - we've survived at least 1 and that was with the technological pinacle of caves, fur clothing and sharp stones attached to sticks.
i also see a coming clash between theĀ observantĀ and the ignorant (most likely instigated by governments and corporations) and a case could easily be made to say that it's already started. the problem here though is numbers - the ignorant are by far the majority.
i would like to think that an even distribution of the world's populace would help but i'm not sure because 'inately aggressive and territorial' doesn't just apply to heavily populated areas, it applies to humans as a species. human migratory patterns across the globe weren't started due to inquisitiveness or wanderlust, humans are animals and when a tribe/clan/pack had too many members the surplus were aggressively forced out because of their territorial nature. these are aspects of homo-sapian that are deeply imbedded in our genetic code but as we have progressed as a civilisation people have tried to rationalise these impulses by claiming genetic superiority over people of a different colour, or thinking they have a 'divine right' to invade a nation and wipe out the inhabitants. there are 3 things that no human ever needs to be taught - how to eat, how to reproduce, and how to be violent. these are things we all know at anĀ instinctual level. you said yourself - "almost an instinct to punch them", well there's no 'almost' about it, it is an instinct, without these instincts we wouldn't have survived as a fledgling species. these traits can easily be managed in a peaceful society, if the first thing people do is acknowledge these traits. i myself know from experience that i am dangerous inĀ regards toĀ physical violence. i don't like knowing this but i had to defend myself from 6 people one time and 10+ another time, and i'm still amazed at how well i did defend myself.Ā now i'm not a violent person, if in an aggressive situation i do what i can to avoid violence,Ā i actually despise unwarrentedĀ violence and feel the only time real worldĀ violence is justified is in self defence, and when i had to defend myself my instincts rose to theĀ occasion (for which i am actually thankful).Ā however, i fully accept that part of my being is violent and so my release for that is violent media - videogames, watching boxing and ufc etc, and our beloved 40k.Ā while i, and many others, may not be overtly violent there are plenty who are - boxers, ufc fighters etc, and those who love 'casual violence' (the people who jumped me), and as our societies try to get rid of 'bloodsports' violence related incidents will increase. i believe there should be more institutions to cater for those who like being violent, they could fight others who want to fight, consentually, and accidental injuries, or even deaths, would be significantly mitigated, it could also prevent people becoming involved in violent crime organisations.
as for the fragility of life, while you may disagree on the point i'm afraid that your example actually agrees with meĀ :) yup, there's multiple occasions where most life on earth has been destroyed and while it has bounced back repeatedly this speaks more to the resilient or tenacious nature of life. plusĀ all life that we know of can only be sustained within a very small, and easily blown away (by galactic standards) ecosphere.
if the solar storm you mention is the same one i'm thinking of then it only took less than 1 hour to wipe out nearly all life on earth. the one i'm thinking of, while not technically a solar storm,Ā is this, bear with me....
in british summertime the earths axial tilt faces away from the sun, but the axial tilt has a rotational cycle (like everything else in the galaxy) that takes somewhere between 20-50 thousand years:Ā so in time the axial tilt during british summertime will face 90 degrees towards the sun, then towards the sun, then away etc. stars also have an axial tilt, which also have rotational cycles. now, don't ask me where or how far 'cause i don't know but it's too close anyhow, there's a pulsar that emits a ridiculous amount of solar radiation, atĀ intersteller distances,Ā from its poles and as it works through its axial tilt cycle there's a very brief period (about an hour) where a straight line can be drawn through its poles to earth, where it bathes the world in the warm glow of terminalĀ radiation.Ā this axial tilt cycle is also believed to coincide with most, if not all, of earths major extinction events. this is another reason i support 'vacating the premises' quite soon, asteroids and such can be moved into harmless orbits when we have the tech, but there is absolutely no defence whatsoever against events like this pulsar other than not being where it hits. not to mention that even our own sun, if enough solar storms happen to head in earths direction relatively close together, can strip the planets atmosphere clean.
okay i think i'veĀ rambled onĀ enough for nowĀ :)
Rambling? Not at all. If anything we haven`t gotten to the core of it yet, and have not told nearly enought. This is but a piece of the puzzle. I like people with opposite views and ideas than my own. From difference comes progress and improvement, so it is important to pay attention to the opinions of others, even if they may be misled, wrong and manufactured or quite knowledgable and interesting, such as in your case.
Humans survived the last ice age with thousands of casualties, and because food could still be found around them. Humans today are dependant on the system. Some people seem to think it is a good idea to import food from the other side of the planet. They would also think that transporting an orange from ten thousand kilometers away is `progress`. The moment you pick the fruit off the tree, it begins to rot and loose it`s nutritional value. Imported food, such as fruit or vegetables has very little vitamins and nutritional value, as opposed to fresh, organically grown local food. With that in mind When the ice age begins, and it`s begining can be seen by the sudden climate changes and a lot of sings, the economy of the world will fail. That alone would be catastrophic, because of the sheer amount of people that rely on it.
The thing about ignorance is that there are two cures. You educate the person, you give them knowledge, understanding, be kind ,be accomodating and help them realise the state of things, and become able to distinguish right from wrong. Do things at their own pace, and use methods that will justify the means to the end, which is curing ignorance. People have to wake up, they need to. And the things that are happening now, and the events of the near future will be a reason and necessity for ,what I like to call, a second renaissance.
And if all that doesn`t work, then shoot them and use them as an example.
The reason for early human migration was the search for resources. A group of primitive humans living in an area were limited by the amount of resources available in that area. When the group becomes too large, and there is not enought for everybody, that leads to violence. The reason groups of people travled was to avoid it. In the Venus project there is plenty for everyone, and so the need for violance, other than entertainment, is simple unnecesary. And here is the thing too much violence and we become savages, too little and we become weak, so the answer is to control it. like boxing, mma, or ufc.
I support casual violence. As someone who enjoys a good sparring match I do not mind getting hit in the face an kicked for the fun of it. I`ve had my nose cracked several times and broken teeth, but it was fun for me, so it was worth it, and my nose straightens itself afterwards. There are those who look at fighting sports as barbaric. I call them stupid. Fighting is the greatest strengthening exercise for the body. Granted most people have no idea how to punch or kick properly, or where. The human body is like one big weakness. The majority of people have no idea that sports, or going to the gym is a science. There is an exact way to do the exercises properly, and what almolst everyone seem to not realise is this. Working out is a completely individual experience. The program and exercises must be made specifically for the individual. Whenever people see someones exercise and dietery plan in a magazine, they do not realise it was made for that one person, and will not work for them. I`ve had people come to me and ask me to create for them a weight loss program with strict cardio... sigh..., ignorance rarely gets more severe. In my case it has been years since someone has been stupid enought to pick a serious fight with me. I kinda miss that. Apparenty if you`re 6ft 4 and large enought you can get away with a lot. Sometimes I wish someone jumps me with a knife or brass knuckles or something just to have some fun, and beat the sh@$t out them.
There are many ways to vent stress. Media is just one of them. Creating institutions that help people with violence is a good idea. Some already exist, however, instead of creating such a facility separately they should be incorporated in prisons. Infact the `prison` needs to be remade as an institution, and help those who need to reintegrate with society.
Life is not fragile, for it can never be completely wiped out. Even if one bacteria is left in time it will multiply, evolve and spread, thus creating a whole new ecosystem. I am not saying life is fragile bacuse it is hard to end, i am saying life is the oppiste of it, because it is impossible to get rid of. Even planets wiped by the Necrons will bear new life given enought time.
A pulsar is basically a laser, focused energy released from a supermassive black hole. Imagine a laser the size of our solar system, that can de-atomize our sun and planets. if a pulsar hit earth directly there would be no planet left, let alone any life. It must have passed by close enought to have minimal affect. And by close by i mean thousands of light years, and by minimal effect i mean destroy almolst all life on the planet. While the pulsar theory is plausible, I do not think a pulsar is responcible. The severity of a solar storm could definetly have genocidal effects. Here is the best part. Since 2012 the sun has entered a state of `solar maximum` where it produces more serious solar storms. We need sunscreen factor 50 000, to survive those.
Question. What is your opinion on the RFID chips?
one of the problems with the ignorant (whether they're dumbass or genius) is the inability to accept the validity of other peoples views. i support your idea of educating and nurturing the ignorant but the biggest barrier are the individuals themselves - 'someone convinced against their will is of their own opinion still', plus most of the ignorantĀ believe that they are awake andĀ that their eyes couldn't be more open.Ā it also doesn't help that most of media, corporations and governments propogate the notion of, "our way is right, don't listen to others and we'll tell you not only what to think but how to think." i also agree that true civilisational progress comes from disparate views forged into a cohesive whole. and by disparate i mean logical and rational differences of opinion -Ā those who allow others to dictate their opinion for them don't have a valid opinion, because it's someone else's opinion that is simply being regurgitated by a mindless drone. i agree that wrong and misled opinions are worth listening to, providing that there is individual thought behind their ideas, but in regards to manufactured (propoganda) opinions i, like you, have to fight the impulse to just start pounding away.
the whole problem with importing perishable goods is money. because of the inequality of world currencies it's cheaper to grow, reap, ship and distribute goods from overseas rather than use local systems. and as we all know 'money is the be all and end all of life', so if a buck can be saved here and there then obviously that's progress. (it doesn't really translate in text but the last sentance is highly sarcastic)
i'm a qualified gym instructor so i know all about individual training programs and such, and while we agree on increasing facilities that cater to those who enjoy casual violence i disagree on incorporating them into prisons. prisons, on the whole, don't work - yeah some people go to prison and are released back to a normal life, but prisons are breeding grounds for more crime. hardened criminals go to jail with other hardened criminals and instead of being a rehabilitationary process it simply allows these people to collaborate in their endeavours of more crime. the u.s. prison system is one of the worst examples - minor offenders, potheads shoplifters etc, end up in places where they are coerced, phychologically and physically, into serious crime organisations, and so end up back in jail for longer where this process keeps on going.Ā this is fine with the u.s. government though, because the u.s. penal system is a buisness - did you know, 90% of the u.s.'s miltaries' protective gear, helmets, boots, body armour etc, are manufactured in american prisons? and considering that it's estimated that about 40% of people in u.s. jails shouldn't even be there the conclusion i come to is that the u.s. penal system is less about incarcerating the guilty and more about filling the prisons with as much slaves as possible. the prison system definitely needs to be re-thought.
and while i despise unwarrented violence i also support casual violence between consenting parties. personally i love mma and i did do kickboxing for a while and though it didn't bother me being hit i couldn't bring myself to throw a proper punch because i didn't feel threatened. i have an odd idea of fair, or honourable violence - if you were to hit me for no reason then you would be hit back, regardless of size, within a second, but if you hit me from behind and i didn't see you hit me, even if we were the only people there, then i wouldn't hit back. even with my rational mind telling me that there's no-one else who could have hit me, because i didn't see you doing it would stay my hand. this is the crux of the 10+ jumping i recieved - no-one had the nerve to hit me face to face, theyĀ were hitting me in the face but always from behind. now, 10+ (reports vary from 12 - 15 but i was in no position to count so i say 10+) people, so obviously i was totally surrounded and every time i turned to face whoever last hit me they stopped, and then i was being hit from those who were now behind me, so i turned and so on. this went on for maybe 10 minutes and the rucus moved close to some telephone boxes where someone smashed my head off a phone box and (this always sound cheesy, even to me) iĀ almost lost my temper. my head was split open, my face half covered (literally half, from the split andĀ down my nose and chin) in my blood but i now had a solid surface (phone boxes) andĀ no-one behind me and i wasĀ seriously pissed off. i spun on them (probably showering a couple with my blood) and screamed "who the f*ck wants a go i'll take you's on one at a time...lets go" while moving towards the nearest of them one fist cocked. within 30 second of my offer everyone was gone! because of my "i didn't see you hit me so i'll give you the benefit of the doubt" mentality i didn't hit a single person, literally not one, but given that no-one was willing to take up the offer i consider that a win for me and the whole incident is a point of pride.
events like this is the sort of thing that institutionalised violence could help to prevent, not to mention the harm that people come to, although it's a point of pride i also accept that luck played a part - if i had went down or tripped i could easily have been kicked to death.
i think we have different definitions of fragile. i'm referring to how easily any organic organism can be killed, and by extension its species.Ā most bacteria can be killed simply at high temperature. if the worlds climate and oceans change temperature by only a couple of degrees c huge swathes of life start dying. solar radiation, an extremely common thing in the universe, if numerous, strong or frequent enough hits earth the only things likely to survive will be deep ocean creatures as the ocean will act as a shield of sorts.Ā life does adapt to the changes though, but that depends on life surviving to adapt. the human race, by my definition, is not strong but our success is precisely because of our adaptability.
i have to correct you about pulsars. pulsars are small, dense stars that spin extremely fast - the one i mention spins at something like 300 times a second. the radiation they emit, while considerable, doesn't compare to the emissions of normal black holes let alone supermassive ones. and as i said, the current research leads experts to think that this pulsar's axial tilt cycle coincides with most of earths extinction events. but when it comes to things like theortical research, paleaontology etc no-one will ever know until someone see's it in person.
rfid chips. brilliant idea. keeps track of things so it can be known exactly where they are. i don't have a problem with that. when it comes to putting them in humans though i have a gigantic problem with that. now i'm sure there's good reasoning to put them in people - prisoners for one, military personnel might even benefit from their implementation. but the idea of having simply everyone implanted with them terrifies me. isn't the world looking a little too 1984 already. if the plans for this go aheadĀ then we can kiss goodbye to any notion of freedom we think we have,Ā and the observant can already seeĀ that there's no such thing as freedom in our current societies merely the illusion of freedom. first it was cctv (which hasn't deterred any serious crime, just made it more tech savvy), thenĀ if rfid's happen it will be the second step to the total subjugation of the masses. i truly believe that they will happen and as such i may end up in jail because i will not submit to that level of personal invasion (i also get the irony that if i end up in jail i'll be rfid'd).
Being defferent and difference of opinion is invaulable. The more different or opposite an opinion based on knowledge, view, values, experience and wisdom, the better. Progress and improvement is best made while struggling to overcome an obstacle or the clash of minds. The resulting exchange of information is the best way to provoke thought and come to conclusions. For that reason if someone has an opinion opposite of my own, and they are able to express and defend it, that one of the best ways to learn. I considered going to the center of the world, which includes the meaning of life and why the system is set up as it is, and why things are as they are, but instead i decided it would be best not to rush it. I also believe we would see the meaning of life quite differently, and the resulting exchange of information would be extremely beneficial and interesting, so let the debate continue at its own pace.
Do you know what really happened 2012? Most people have no idea. What happened were several events, those that i know of, with possibly a few more. So, what happened. First is that the sun entered the state of solar maximum activity where it produces more frequent and strong solar storms. The second is that there was a spike in the people who watched documentaries, and so there was a rapid increase in knowledge to some, that even lead to different and more serious questions to be asked. The third, and most interesting, is this. It is a statistical fact that during a full moon there is more crime. The alleged gravity effects of the moon on people is said to be like holding an olive 30sm above a persons head. If that is the case, then why does the moon cycle effect people in the first place? The brain is an extremely sensitive organ, and can be influenced by the smallest of factors, not to mention the other effects upon it. So what happened in 2012 was that the earth entered the age of aquarius. That means a that our solar system rotates around the center of the galaxy, so does the galaxy rotate around the centre of the Universe, on the date 21st december 2012, the Planet alligned in a very special and complicated way with the centre of the Universe. What happened? It had an effect on human intelligence and behaviour. The begining of the age of aquarius is actually the begining of a golden age of progress, where people will actually become smarter and intellectually enhanced. And it is just begining. Of course that increase in mind is being countered by all the stupidity increasing factors of society and media, and most people, for stupid reasons, thought that some cataclysm was going to happen. Actually, because of the Sun the chances of that have increased, but so has the human mind. The mass media and propagande will not be able to fool most people for long, in the near future the governments of the world will have to answer for what they have been doing.
Prisoners and debt are also traded on the Stock Exhcange on Wall street. A completely useless instititution, that does nothing but consume rescources. The majority of people that are in US prisons are there because of debt, or financial crimes. If the world becomes as it should be, then there would be no need for prisons in the first place, we agree on that. i did not mean creating fight clubs in prisons, but instead reeducating the prisoners, and providing them with help and the means to start a new life.
Here is what i think being a man is all about. Being a man is being a positive role model to people and being the embodiment for strenght and gentleness. Alway help those who ask for it, and sometimes those who do not, but need to, and never use violence unless it is necessary or called for. With that in mind, if a group of peole jump me for no good reason, for me it would be a field day, because i can crack their skulls open and break their legs to give them something to think about. I have never hit someone with full strenght in my life, because i honeslty think that could kill them. And i do not need to see someone provoking me, to hit them. You seem to have some form of imbeded pacifism. You need to get rid of it. Be kind to those who need and deserve it, always show respect first, but if someone messes with you out of sheer stupidity, then beat the fu@$% out of them.
Any organic organism? There are types of bacteria that can survive open space, or extreme enviorments, called extremofiles. There are even bacteria that can survive an impact by an asteroid. Bacterias have been found several kilometeres in earths crust, not just the ocean in extremely harsh conditions.
You`re right i got mixed up, i meant x-rays, basically a laser the size of the solar system that deatomizes matter. The theory about the pulsar does seem like a plausible one, i will have to look into it.
My thoughts exactly. So, how are they gonna get people to get those chips? They will scare them, and convince them, and force them if they have to, but the main argument will be this. They will be used to substitute money. How? By creating an economic collapse that will effect the world. China anyone?
Ever heard of hegelian philosophy? It goes like this. You take thesis and antythesis, two opposites, rub them together, destroy them, and what you get is subthesis, which is what you want. Order out of artificially created chaos. Brilliant. Do we see anything like that today? Democrats, republicansĀ ; Leftist, rightĀ ; capitalism, communism; liberals ,conservatives, I can go on and on. So, basically the idea of the new world order is to create so much pain and chaos that people will listen to anyone with ideas, and take them before even considering them. Make the pain of separation creater than the pain of unity.
So where does Chinas economical collapse ,in the very near future tie in? Anyone understanding basic economy can understand that China is sabotaging itself, and when it collapses it will drag down the world with it. In the resulting Chaos, the idea of the RFID chips will be proposed. So what is China doing?I will explain the simple basics. It is investing obscene amounts of money in its infrastructure and in projects that will not return the investment. It is bankrupting itself, delibaretly. Econimic experts in the world are shocked, and try to warn people, just like before 2008 crysis, but because `times are good` no one listens or understands. The Chinese constitution has this very interesting law in it. It states that all citizens can have property and possesions, but the government can take them during a time of crisis. So basically if a collapse happens, everybody no longer owns property, and a lot of other things. Word of advice. If you know anyone living in China tell them to sell any realestate they have, and get the hell out of there. There are about four? countries in the world tha are a decent place to live in.
The possible good news it that a lot of people will be against the RFID chips and will protest against them. I am going to be amongst them.
i wholeheartedly agreeĀ that well constructed differences of opinion are vital toĀ the intellectual progress of our species, and as your opinions are well contructed, even though i may disagree with one or two, i am more than happy to listen and respond because they are well thought out and well expressed. as you say there's plenty still to discuss, but in regards to the meaning of life, as i said earlier i don't think there is any meaning butĀ if you wish to say what you think i'll listenĀ and respond.
i do know about the sun's increasing solar output but i was unaware of an increase in people willing to watch documentaries which is essentially an increase in people willing toĀ learn (which i find surprising but also heartening). i also know about the relation between a full moon and an increase in crime and have 2 theories - 1) the moon exerts a significant gravitationalĀ influence on the earths oceans (the tides of the oceans are directly affected by the pull of the moon), and as humans are over 70% (80%?) water then logic dictates that the moon must affect us too. statistically speaking crime increases during full moons but it also increases when the moon is closest to earth in its orbit, and the cycles can be measured. the thing is though that so far there is only data on the cycles of moon activity in relation to statistical crime and no-one actually knows in what way the moon affects the psyche - if it affects the psyche at all or is just coincidental because my 2nd theory is - 2) the majority of crime is nocturnal and it's a lot easier to see with a full moon.
i'm afraid i have to correct you again - while every body in the galaxy does indeed rotate around something, moons around planets, asteroids, comets and planets around suns, suns around the galactic centre (hypothetically a supermassive black hole), the known galaxies do not rotate around anything. all the date that's been garnered about deep space (which is infintesimal) has shown that most known galaxies are movingĀ away from each other at ever increasing velocities. as for the centre of the universe - in my opinion there is no such thing in current science -Ā most 'experts' think that the centre of the universe is defined by not being able to see past a certain point, the 'centre', but very few seem to think it's simply more likely that we can't see further because we don't have the technological capability to see further (that's what i think, because i reckon the universe is unimaginably bigger than anyone yet realizes). for the sake of argument though lets assume it is the centre, that doesn't actually change the fact that most known galaxies are hurtling away from it and speeding up. the exceptions are those thatĀ were close enough to a neighbour toĀ exert a gravitational pull. the best instance here is our own milky way - there is a 'micro-galaxy' on the the other side of our galaxy which is about to be, or has already started to be, 'consumed' by our galaxy because our gravitational pull hasĀ hauled it in. on the other hand thoughĀ andromeda, which is our nearest big neighbour, isn't micro, and we are heading towards it because it's way bigger than our poor old milky wayĀ and inĀ few billion years the milky way won't exist but will have added to the bulk of andromeda. so if the human race wants to survive not only do we need to vacate our system we need to vacate our galaxy.
i can assure you that i have no compunction, whatsoever, about defending myself. that incident wasn't regular, but an example of how far my 'fair' mentality goes. rest assuredthat i am very capable of defending myself and when it comes to self defence i fully believe in defending to such an extreme that the message "don f*ck with that dude"Ā is recieved, and i have defended myself in such a way. while i do have pacifist views that i wish so many others shared, inĀ terms of physical capabilityĀ i know that i am dangerous. i also have never hit anyone with my full strength because i know how to throw a punch and i've hadĀ 4Ā instances of ending trouble with 1 punch, plus i've never lost my temper, for which i can't express how thankful i am, because i know that i have the physical capability to kill a person and i genuinely believe if i ever do loose my temper i will come-to over a corpse.
i find extremophiles fascinating. first of because they live in such extreme environs, but also because while they survive and thrive in conditions that are extreme for us, they also die, quickly, in conditions that we consider normal. our extreme environ is their home and their extreme environ is our home, from an extremophile's point of viewĀ we are the extremophiles, and as such we are all fragile in the wrong environment. that's a point i forgot to mention earlier, all life that we know of exists on earth, a place with conditions that so far are unique to scientific knowledge. if other life is found (which it will be) then these conditions will change from unique to rare, but consider the volume of conditions that are inimical to life - most of the universe. all i'm saying is that it's far far harder for life to find a foothold than it is to adapt to a new foothold. life can adapt to most conditions, but those conditions are unique (rare - pending), and while there are bacteria that can survive the cold and airlessness of space they can't survive very much solar exposure. strengths are always balanced by weakness, but considering how much of the universe there is (so far) the strengths only apply to very limited conditions.
i think america is a good example of how to go about implementing rfid chips. the governments and corporations, either through design or just plain idiocy, manufacture events across the whole world that has lead to the current situation of u.s. citizens having to give up personal freedoms in the name of 'safety'. now pretty much all governments do this but it really disheartens me to see how many u.s. are willing to give up their civil liberties, and where the u.s. government leads the u.k. government follows.
as for the china situation, that sounds about right. but isn't china currently the (technically) richest country in the world? technically because while they don't really have that much money they actually owe less to other nations, and in return more nations owe china more than anywhere else. america itself owes china trillions that it can't afford.
there are plenty of people against rfid's, for now. but what events are we going to have to go through, besides china's,Ā for their popularity to rise enough to implement them? because as much as 'the people' may not want them we all know just how much the people actually matter when it comes to passing bills that greatly benefit the ruling classes.
what 4 countries do you think are decent places to live? i can only think of one or twoĀ and it's not the u.k. or the u.s.
I had to re-read this entire discussion.
As for the meaning of life, here are the factors to consider. What are the chances of life, even more so through bacteria to exist and evolve in the first place? Even if life comes to a state of self awarness and define itself does if create and follow its own purpose or is it bestowed one? If life never stops evolving, or advancing how far can it reach? Can it reach a state defined by others as godhood? Can life create life? How much can life change and influence its surroundigs, such as their own planet, or even galaxy? Even if life does not have a meaning, it has a purpose. It`s even a good one.
At some point physicists or scientists realise that everything affects everything. As you said the human body is mostly water, and even the human brain is 60% water. So apart from gravity as a factor, how many other influences could there be? Just about everything. The brain for example is an extremely sensitive organ. The whole idea of the full moons influence is not just about more light as to see, but that minor increase in gravity affecting the brain and body on a cellular level, synapses and blood vessels of the brain for example. What else can influence the body? To pinpoint the which part is most subjective to influence. Apart from the obvious factors such as food, water, air, sleep, light, activity, temperature, darkness even position the second greatest would be the water in the human body itself. Water has a memory. Not only that it is influenced in all sorts of ways. The highest impact is sound. Sound is vibration of the air. Different frequencies of sound have different impacts. That same vibration aslo effects water. Shouting underwater anyone?Ā That means that music can and does influence the body. Do you think todays crap music, might have any negative influence to people? Why don`t we just look at todays generation, which has forgotten what classical, instrumental or even good music is. Are they doing OK? Of course music is just one of the factors. The less obvious one to have influence would be solar radiation, dark matter, frequencies of sound, gravity, chemicals in the body and food, minor toxins in the air and a number of other not constant and sudden events or one time ones to consider. So, do you think that this `golden age of thought` has happened before, and is actually a cycle that affected life some time ago, stopped, and is now again becoming a positive factors. Even more so, that the last time it affected people they found out about it, and have even predicted when it will end and begin again? There is an abundance of Undeniable evidence to prove that.
Here is how star observation works. Telescopes look at the light in space, light which takes time to travel. For example the light emmited from the sun takes 8 minutes to travel to Earth. That means if the Sun explodes, we won`t find out for 8 minutes. The light that is being caught and observed by telescopes is actually billions of years old. That means we are looking at past events, that have already happend or are happening billions of years ago. When that collision with Andromeda happens, there is nothing to worry about. The sheer size of the Galaxy means there will not be like a mosh pit, stars and planets will not collide and all that. It is gonna be quite a show. And also, Earth is going to be pulled into the Sun in a few billion years, so there is that.
As for the Universe. Well...it is another example of unreleased information, covered up facts and even disputes within the top scientific communities themselves, which has simply not been made public. Let me say it like this. The biology books can be rewritten, the physics books can be rewritten, the books on morals and such can be rewritten, the books on geology can be rewritten and the "History" books can be burned and written again from scratch. All books need to be rethought. I think even you would be astonished how much supressed, hoarded and false knowledge there is. One thing i have learned. Never trust conventional sources and awlays check them. And if someone gives you, what can be considered extremely controversial information simply check it yourself, and then consider how to react. That is what I am hoping you would do as this discussion progresses. Infact the only reason i have not suggested using Skype or the like is because someday someone might actually read this and learn something. So let this be public.
Let`s continue. The estimated age of the universe is around 14 billion years, or 13.7 to be more "exact". So what if stars have been found whose estimated age is older than that of the universe? What about the "Big Bang"? The idea of it is that at some point everything, the entire universe, was concentrated, or a single point and then exploded, creating everything. The argument behind the big bang and the universe expanding is that because when the light coming from distant objects is observed there is, what is called a "red shift". When waves of light are streched and become longer, that is called a "red shift", when light, compressed and the light waves shortened, then the spectrum of light is shorter and it is seen as a "blue shift". So red light is far and blue light is near. And because the waves of light seem to be "red shifted" then that must mean the objects are Supposedly moving away. So if the universe was supposed to be expanding, then it must have been closer at some point together at the past. That is the idea on the Big Bang. Now what are the problems? If you look in space what is seen are irregular, unevenly distributed concentrations of starts. Or clusters of stars. If the universe was at some point a single point, as Big Bang suggests, then "exploded", which is not an accurate term, then that would mean that matter would be evenly distributed. This is called the cosmological principle. Uniformed distribution of matter. IF the universe originated from a single point, then all matter would be evenly distributed. Instead you see those clusters of stars all over. And then there is the question of matter. If at some point the universe was an infintesimal point of energy, even if it exploded, then there would not be anything. It is a fact that energy can become matter, and matter can become energy, but if the universe was energy and then exploded then what about matter and antimatter? They would have cancelled eachother out and there would not be anything in the first place. Here is the best part. The Big Bang violates the Law of Angular Momentum. Everything is spinning and rotating right? If the Big Bang happened, then it shouldn`t. If there was an explosion, then when it happened everything was shot out in straight lines. There should be no rotation of the galaxies, panetls or whatever in the Universe. The answer to that is, that the infintesimal point, from which the universe began must have been spinning. If that happened, thenthe Law of Angular Momentum would dictate that when the explosion did happen, the matter, or energy would have been spinning in the same direction as that dot was spinning originally. So if it was going clockwise then everything would be spinning in that direction, and if it was going counter clockwise then that direction. That would mean that everything in the universe that spins would be spinning at one direction or another. Do we have that? No. Everywhere you look in the universe stuff is spinning, rotating, orbiting at all sorts of directions. But they are not spinning at the same directions. Planets, moons, Galaxies are spinning backwards. In our own solar system Venus, Uranus, Pluto and even some moonsĀ are spinning backwards. Even counter to the orbit of the planet. So now it is said that a "counter force" stoppedĀ the spin and turned it the other way around. Such a force would tear the planet in pieces, and what about the entire galaxies? Such a theory is simply implausible.Ā Example is the star system Pleiades in the belt Orion. Pleiades is known as a bound cluster. That means the gravity within the system is equal to the force that wants to separate them. And then there are the Globular Clusters such as M13 in Hercules. Look them up if you wish. I will not even go into the formation of atoms, and hydrogen. The human body alone has every element in it, the odds of that even occuring are staggering. Einstein himself had some trouble figuring those out. And the "solutions" and those ARE theoratical, NOT practical or even applicable. The so-called "theory of relativity" is based on the idea of just that- relativity and bullshit. Here is how it goes. Relativity is just a word. It mean you do not need to go into all the details. So if someone asks "how old is this?" the answer would be "It`s relative" relative to what? "to my paradime" or more accurately "to my way of thinking" If i believe something, there is nothing you can do to disprove it. And if you believe the opposite, there is nothing i can do to prove it is not. So believe it if you want to.Ā That`s how it works. See what i mean about those books?
If i ever start with biology, the extremophiles will be covered. And if you think the idea of the Big Bang is flawed, then biology will be like a new science.
America is a "Democracy" in the media, but on paper it is "fascism". The FEMA camps, or concentration camps. The CIA can uprehend people when they wish, NSA spying and storing info on everybody. The CIA itself is an organization that covers the truth, not expose it. There are so many chemicalls in the food, that it is like poison. There are two basic factors needed for a democracy. The first is a leader elected from the people. All US presidents are cousins. They are from the same family. This is even public information, there were interviews on CNN on the matter. They do not hide it. They even admit to be from the same "super secret" clubs, like the Masons and the Knights of Malta. There is not a single president of the US that has not been a member of those "basement clubs", as I have heard them be called. Again this is public, they talk about it, there are interviews and such. The second is free media. There is no such thing as free media, and the mass media is completely controlled. The one exeption is the Internet. In USA you can be aprehended, without charge, on the grounds of suspicion for an indefinite amount of time. But as long as you getĀ that one vote all is fine right?
Yes it is. That does not mean it cannot suffer an economic collapse, even more so a delibarete one.
The four countries are
Bulgaria. The only reason it does not prosper, in the literall meaning of the word are the politicians. And people know that. They are rotated and thrown from office like toilet paper. It is also the country with the 3rd fastest internet, top ten, five or three in the world for most beautiful women, and the country itself has more history than most. The territory it is located on has great energy, Bulgaria is the only country in Europe with more than a 180 varieties of herbes. And best of all people know what and who causes the problems- government.
Ecuador. The entire situation in Greece is much more dastardly and less complicated, and could have been resolved almost immediatly, had they taken the example of Ecuador and what Correa Rafael did, and the term "illegal debt" which basically means that if the government has made decisions, or piled debt without the knowledge or approval of the people, then that debt does not have to be paid. Which is exactly what happened. After that happened the standart of life skyrocketed. The people do not trust the government. See where i am going with this?
http://www.projectcensored.org/top-stories/articles/10-ecuador-declares-foreign-debt-illegitimate/
New Zealand. Low population, realtively isolated, high standart of living, geothermal power, low pollution, nature.
Canada? The only reason is that I do not want to live there is because it is next door to the US.
And Japan? Biggest factor? I love sushi. I am not going into the details, because some events will occure there, and unless they can be confirmed or disregarded they should not be stated. The economical collapse of China is almolst certain at this point.
