The Blood Eagles were a Successor Space Marine Chapter of the Blood Angels. They were raised during an unknown Founding. The Chapter was destroyed in an unknown event.

The Blood Eagles' fellow Blood Angels successors, the Angels Numinous and Red Seraphs are supposedly either descended from the Blood Eagles or were once close brothers to that now-extinct Chapter.

Canon Conflict

In Warlords of the Dark Millennium: Dante, the Blood Eagles are said to be an alternative name for the Angels Numinous Chapter.

However, the author Aaron Dembski-Bowden's comments on Twitter on November 17, 2019 indicate that the Blood Eagles were either a progenitor Chapter for the Angels Numinous or an entirely separate Chapter that was closely allied with them.
