During the conflict, Jevrian was noted to have defeated a [[Chaos Dreadnought]] in combat. Having peppered the machine with hell-blasts, the Kasrkin then lunged onto its casket, scaling its bulk one-handed while impaling it with his power sword. Reaching the Dreadnought's ornate face, he jammed the muzzle of his pistol into its vision-slit and pulled the trigger. This vaporized the pilot entombed within, a pilot who had once been a noble [[Astartes]].

"The last surviving Remnant soldier was put down with a las-round to the forehead while he pleaded for his life, on his knees, insisting he had no choice."
"Ain't that a shame."
"His executioner, faceless in his dark rebreather and full visored helm, turned from the falling corpse...
"

—Master Sergeant Ban Jevrian, during the Reclamation of Kathur.

Master Sergeant Ban Jevrian is a member of the Cadian Shock Troops' famed Kasrkin, leading the 88th Mechanised Infantry's elite Strike team Cruor.

History

Like all Kasrkin, Ban Jevrian is an intimidating sight. He isn't so much in athletic Cadian shape as he is a layer of slab-like muscle over thick bone, encased in Carapace Armour. His hulking form promises only pain and bristles with firepower.

An excellent shot with his Hellpistol, Jevrian is also a master swordsman. Wielding a large, crackling Power Sabre, he is considered to be the greatest duellist within the entire 88th regiment.

Jevrian had fought against the forces of Chaos during the 13th Black Crusade, taking part in an open battle against a great Chaos Titan. Though the monstrosity eventually fell, Jevrian still hates to look back on that day. In the end, even as the skies of Home burned, the grim Sergeant's only response was to mutter "Going to be a busy week."

Cadian Blood

When the remnants of Cadia were called to reclaim the Shrine-World of Kathur, the 88th Mechanised Infantry was tasked with assisting the Janus 6th in their struggle against the corrupted remnants of Kathur's Planetary Defence Force.

During the conflict, Jevrian was noted to have defeated a Chaos Dreadnought in combat. This vaporized the pilot entombed within, a pilot who had once been a noble Astartes.

Upon seeing their champion fall, the forces of Chaos went into full retreat, only to be cut down in turn by a hail of Cadian las-fire. It was only then, after jumping down from his fallen enemy, that Jevrian realised his arm had been broken.

Though he carried this injury for the rest of the conflict, Jevrian continued to fight alongside the 88th, wielding his malfunctioning and half-snapped power sabre.
