An Artificial World is considered an Imperial planet but is of non-natural origin.

These include orbital void stations and hollowed-out asteroid emplacements that include listening posts, research laboratories, military void stations, and doomsday bastions.

However, Artificial Worlds can have large populations and can contribute regiments to the Astra Militarum.
