So i know the Primaris marines assault squads are different but what if a captain wants too do a fast assault but cant use drop pods? Can the captain have the Primaris marines use jump packs? Or is the Mark X not able to integrate with the older tech?
What's on your mind?
At the end of the “Battle of Baal” story, the book mentions “screeching tyranids covered in fungoid growths and wielding previously unrecorded bioforms”. It was suggested once that these might be warp-corrupted bioforms. Anyone else have an idea? I honestly hope they shine some light on these in the 9th ed codex.
who're the people(human or not) from 40k that can pet the Tyranids without getting themselves killed?
I noticed that a few pages do not have the option to be edited, are they restricted in some way? Do you need to pass criteria to edit these?
The Officio Assassinorum's Vanus temple is made up of info-cytes who manipulate data to eliminate their targets. But when an info-cyte is unbound, what exactly does that mean? Does it mean that they are independant from the main temple?
I've been wondering which of everyone's favorite science fiction admirals and/or people who lead fleets, if given fleets of equal enough strength, would win an all out battle just off of skill. Like your Grand Admiral Thrawns or you Captain Keyeses (not an admiral but you know what I mean) or your Admiral Trenches.
Still failry new to 40k, but it seems like the majority of naval officers would just use the same "kill it with more dudes" approach the ig often does.
Is the content of this video true?
I've never heard of these neat space skavens till now. Can anyone here confirm it? If its true why don't they have their own article?
Regardless of GW's ability, we don't need to be told the opinion that GW wouldn't be able to write a good story explaining in full the fall of the lost primarchs. The opinion is non-sequitur and has no place in a wiki. Please remove it. The part in question is as follows, found under "Legion/Primarch II":
"In any case, it is unlikely that the current writers at Games Workshop could do justice to the now much-anticipated mystery of what happened to the Lost Legions and why they were deleted from the Imperium's historical records."
Thank you for all the hard work that is put into running the 40k wiki.
When you click on the "Emperor of Mankind" page, there is a 2 minutes video that explains his history a little bit. But the song used, I simply can't find it anywhere! for some reason I can't see the video if I am logged in, only when I come logged out. Any help? At this point I am desperate just because a bloody song is beating me
I am returning to 40k after a long hiatus due to life. I have played a handful of games vs necrons, tyranids, space wolves, and dark angels. I could see my strengths and weaknesses vs the necrons and tyranids but vs the space marine factions it just felt like I was out matched all around.
I’m looking for lists or suggestions vs the space marines for orkz so that it’s not just a one sided battle, I don’t mind losing but it is a lot funner when the battle is a little more even.
i am new to the 40k lore so i was wondering if i got this right:
The chaos gods are within the inmaterium/warp and there they are nearly omnipotent correct?
So why dont do more in the materium like wipe out the empeor? As far as i understood it
despite their insane power within the warp they cant use their full power in the materium and can only
do stuff there if they have a tear in realspace and then its still limited. The bigger the tear the more power
they can use. Or through a willing follower though very limited.
Thats also the reason why Slaneesh could easily kill the Elder gods that were in the warp but couldnt
get his/her/its hands on Chegorach who hid in the webway or ynnead who was in the materium/real space correct?
This then would also explain why they cant just use their full power and just wipe out the emperor or take more actions in the materium right?
Considering every faction seems to employ some kind of high speed ultra cool jet fighter thing, or large troop transports that are seemingly capable of viritical take offs/landings
but no helicopter analog seems to exist
I hadn't posted for a little while and decided to post a topic within the "Dicuss" option available at the top of the wiki page. The "Discuss" link which is at the end of the following links: Top Content, Imperium of Man, Community, and Explore.
The format has changed and I can't seem to find a way to post on it.
At the top is this "What's on your mind, SDW1313?" I can't type anything in. There are some options on the right I can't seem to use. There is a "? Guidelines" option to choose which doesn't help.
Beneath that are threads. I can access reading a thread through the time link (example 9h) beside the thread poster's name and see all the posts. Although my cursor symbol changes to a "hand" when I come over some features such as the upvote and number of posts in a thread, I can access those options. The end of the thread looks like an opportunity to post and says "What do you think?" but I can't post anything. Beneath that their is the constant spinning image like something is loading.
i think space marines have children and more of them are married and have familys than people realised and it depends on chapters also salamanders yes the ultramarines encourage along with there sucessor chapters it space wolves oh yeah the imperal fists it,s not only encourage but is also a neccesaty sense almost all of them actually no days come from wealty familys with vast fortunes and they also have legacy system beacuse they have things that imperium wants to keep in the family i,ts almost mandatory well we all lemon russ had tons of children
So, for all the experts of Warhammer 40k Lore, this is my question to you, if say you were to travel to the Warp, what would the equivalent to one minute be in there like? would you survive?
BE AS THOROUGH AS POSSIBLE!!!!
The section on Hon'sou is inaccurate. He had spliced geneseed of half IF and hald IW. This was an experiment done by Fabius Bile on an IF who was killed and taken from a battle on Hydra Cordatus.
